I have been given a lovely pyramid for Christmas with figures that fit into it all the dietes etc. I am delighted with it, It reminds me of my trip to Egypt and on one specific dayI flew from Luxor to Cairo, while I was at the Cairo museum I saw some amazing things, after this visit to the museum I was walking through the streets of Cairo just along from the main beautiful Mosque in 45 degree heat, being harassed constantly to buy things from the many market stalls, my friend I am with is constantly going on about me buying a belly dancing outfit and I have PMT this is like asking a Rottweiler for a kiss in this heat. I remember sitting in a cafe outside the main mosque having some refreshing drinks and a calm down before going to freshen up in the toilets. I make my way to the lavatory up these dark stairs of this cafe, there is a teenage boy sitting outside the toilet ready to sell me one square of toilet paper he looks pissed off sitting there. I go into my bag and give him a picture of the Scottish Wonder Woman sat below her pyramids from Freeport west Lothian Scotland lol  and holding her flag of Mel Gibson dressed as William Wallace. My god he jumps up and down hands me the full roll of toilet paper and runs down the stairs to where all the main cafes are, Me I carry on with what I am doing not a pretty site this toilet but needs must.when I arrive back all the cafe owners are out shouting  “freedom freedom William Wallace” they are laughing and joking, I am stood there Gobsmacked wonder if I would have got the same reaction had I had Robert the Bruce whom I love on my Flag in picture..Hence then I got my belly dancing outfit at a great price never had it on lol seems our Wallace is a universal figure that we all connect with even the Egyptians.

I have arranged for my friend Janie to come up from London just before New Year so we can spend it together I have not seen her in a while and something amazing always happens when she is around lol. This is the woman we all stayed with when we went to Uri Gellers house, many years ago so I am wondering what she is bringing with her lol. My friend Janie has not had a good time recently her brother Jim died of cancer a few years ago and last year her other brother John also died of cancer, her husband died of cancer when she was just 34 and she was left to bring up 4 children on her own I am thinking how am I going to make this a healing time for her a new start a new year, time for her to focus on herself now a new chapter about her.she for some reason reminds me of a female Billy Connelly

I met Janie when I was 19 I was a young mum and at the local toddler group the woman there were a lot older than me. There was no Ann Summers parties in those days lol it was pipidee party and I was invited to one I always remember this woman arriving my god she flowed in the room like a breath of fresh air I never seen the like energy she had it and the most amazing  magical stories I had ever heard. Mystical indeed. She had been working at the county building in Lanark and she was describing how she met this lady there everyday that would talk about her wonderful grandson, my god it was my mother it turned out to be, we also shared the same love for New Lanark, Janie was brought up at New Lanark as a child and stayed next to my nana Jeans family all those years ago, Janie was of Irish descent and would always talk about her grandma Jane Rocks sticks in my brain that name and the name McGeary.We had no idea when we met all this would unfold I remember thinking wish I had Irish connections when I met later to discover I did lol.

I had the opportunity of meeting Janie’s Brother John whom was suffering from cancer. He had come to New Lanark back to his childhood roots and the river he also loves they were staying in new Lanark mill hotel and had invited me down to met John and his daughter Ann Marie. I had been down the river a week before with my Native American Indian friend I wanted to show him the falcons, there is about 10 seat logs there and Wananeeche and I sat on them looking down the river. I told Wananeeche I was meeting a man with cancer here next week Wananeeche told me of all the natural herbs and things he works with and how he tries and finds the emotion that has caused the cancer in peoples bodies. I remember a book I have read by Doctor David Hamilton, Dr David Hamilton dropped out of university to write this book as he had seen the placebo effect he had seen people being given real cancer drugs and others placebos and he has seen the placebo patients heal, so I got to get John this book “Its the thought that counts” which turned up divinely and was signed by Dr David Hamilton.I have heard Dr David Hamilton speak at conferences many times and I love his story about paying it forward.

Janie.Ann-Marie and John

John was a lovely man and I took him to the holy grotto in Carfin as he liked St.Perigrin the cancer saint I had been given a lovely poem that day at uni from my coach Joyce Bunting about TIME by Laurence Olivier, whom herself has beaten cancer twice and I gave him this too. We had a wonderful Day John all his life wanted to be a natural healer, John and I went for a stroll along the river and he told me how he missed so much his second wife and his love of his life Sylvie whom had died a few years previouse I could tell he loved her so much and missed her by the expression on his face, it’s funny I watched John walk up and sit on the same log Wananneche had sat on the week before he loved Native Americans I gave John the eagles c.d “Hell freezes over” , John lived another three year and a great three years he shared with my friend Janie and his Family. He loved my story of William Wallace and it gave him Courage and passion to fight his own adversity with love.

So here we are getting ready to go pick up Janie from Glasgow airport got the kilt on to met her, I have picked up a bad cold at Christmas and spent most of the weeks leading up to this in bed Colin making d.v.d. of a recent concert to cheer me up.I have been asked to collect money for my charity in Princes square garden in Edinburgh the huge New Year Celebrations Scottish Wonder Woman would have went down well at that but I just could not do it I could not stop this dreadful cough I had and I had to decline the kind offer. I have booked my friend into New Lanark mill hotel on New Year’s Day to have a lovely lunch at our favourite place a great start to her New Year and a few days up at Nunraw not sure what she will make of that. I have also been asked by my mate Tommy to come to the A.A dance my friend Tommy is a member of the A.A (Alcoholics Anon) and is the singer for the night he does a great Michael McDonald “Sweet Freedom”. My friend had a hard time in her childhood where alcohol was involved I do not ask to much. So this will be great for her I cannot wait to see a full room of people enjoying them without alcohol I have never experienced this before and I am curious to feel the energy.

The first few days of her stay we take it easy and reminisce about the things that have happened to us that nobody would believe especially the eagles concert at Hampden and the magic we experienced there that night way back on the 22nd July 2001, she will always say Jane I got two songs for you “Her Hair hung over her shoulder in a black velvet band”, and “three coins in a fountain” I would just laugh. she has brought with her one of those hats we used to make tassel hat she is worried I did not like the colour I loved it never took it off the whole time she was here,

she has two DVDs with her one is “Pay it Forward” the other is “The Secret” I have already been given the book the secret I do not agree with it, yes you can have whatever you want but by going by my life ask yourself will it really make you happy?. I remember two instances in my life I wanted something that bad I prayed for it every day for 5 years and when I got it, It made me miserable what a waste of time and energy and waiting that was what a lesson. Then another time I wanted so badly to go to Godskitchen it was coming to Ingliston a dance event oh I wanted to go. So I asked god if this was divinely planned then I will get a ticket sadly Godskitchen came to Ingliston and went. I never got to Ingliston I was gutted, A few months later I was asked to the Global Gathering in Birmingham with the D.J. set Push I met by chance ,as I drove to this gig just outside Warwick Birmingham with them through fields over the river Avon past beautiful willow trees to Longmarsden airbase we went through a caravan park then a race track with a line of Ferrari’s sitting I arrived back stage as I enter what is like a huge circus tent, I see a huge sign an “angel with a trumpet” its GODSKITCHEN on the grandest scale I could ever imagine there was fire eaters, stilt walkers, devils. angels, jugglers, robots My god mind blowing and the world’s biggest D.J ’s standing right next to me, I gave them my lucky logo they all have it on the music cases lol, I have been a guest here two years in a row second time as Scottish Wonder Woman. So now I leave it to God to bring everything that will make me happy he knows me better than I know myself and his grand plan for you all is bigger than you could ever imagine that’s the secret and what they are not telling you. You just cut out the cloth and let the master tailor put it together you just watch for the opportunities and recognise them with your intuition if it feels good DO IT,

We arrive at the AA dance for the New year bells big change from running about as the Scottish wonder woman at new-year, My friend can see the healing that’s taking place she always hated the drink at new year when she was little, she has also visited a friend called Theresa whom she has told she is going up to nunraw her friend has told her that Janies mother used to run bus trips to Nunraw many years ago, my friend is gobsmacked so everything is going well. The AA dance is strange seeing everyone with Irn bru, cola, etc on the table instead of your pint glasses the atmosphere is good as Tommy strikes up with a song and it’s not long before the crowd are all in high spirits and dancing so you can enjoy yourself without alcohol and have music.

We arrive at New Lanark on New Year’s Day I take my friend to her old house she stayed in number 11 water row it’s a bit derelict but it’s the only house in the row with windows and a green door we always joke and sing the shaking Stevens song “Green Door” We then head to the river she reminds me that she has thrown Johns ashes in the river as he requested and some flowers about 6 months ago in a private service with Johns family as we arrived the river is covered in icicles it looks fantastic on this beautiful day no money in the world could buy this as she makes her way someone has left three cream roses at the side of the river she says that’s what I threw in for John wonderful I cannot remember having as great a new year as this.

Next day we make our way up to Nunraw I have the lap top I have still to email Sir Ian Wood about my charity and I am hoping I get the opportunity to write it here at Nunraw. It’s a very humbling place very Basic and I am not sure what my friend is going to make of it. I take a wrong turn and end up at a house called Africa this reminds me of Brother Steven I loved him so much and he used to say “see when you go to Africa” I would say “not until I help the Scottish kids”…on arrival at Nunraw Brother Raymond is getting ready to go to the monastery in Nigeria we sit and have a cup of tea with him and I listen to his stories. Then we are shown to our room unpack and up for compline where the monks sing at 7pm they sing also at 5am but we never made it lol. Next day we make our way to Haddington the main town where my friend likes to visit the charity shops we pass Lennoxlove I wonder what Lennoxlove is,I am looking for ANNIE LENNOX.

I am drawn to a c.d in the charity shop it’s called !the rugged cross” it has music on it Lena Martel “one day at a time” this is my friends favourite song keep her going when her husband died of cancer,” Morning has Brocken” that’s one of mine, it has “how great though art” and “the old rugged cross”, I bought the cd for a few pounds and take it back to Nunraw I sit down beside brother Patrick he is lovely he says in his Irish accent “what you been buying Jane”I said” this c.d lets put it on”, we get Colins laptop there’s a small crowd gathered now Brother Patrick reminds us that a good song bypasses the head straight into the heart which is so true. There is one lady here she says “Jane my mother just died she loved that song the rugged cross” and what a healing took place for that Lady there and then cause I had no idea why I bought it, after we were finished listening to the music I gave the lady the c,d, she was over the moon she said “Jane you sure” I said “YES I’m trading that old rugged cross in” and that’s what I did no more suffering we are here to have fun I tell my friend Janie, She has come away with beads from Madgagorie which Harry has given her from his heart she has always wanted to visit Madgegorie I am later told to tell her from Tommy that everything turns to Gold they say in Madgegorie a message I have relayed to her.

Nunraw

I have met a lovely school teacher whom tells me she had a breakdown because she has been assaulted by a pupil I tell her of my charity and how I am here to write a letter to Sir Ian wood about it, She asks can I write your letter I said “oh yes with pleasure I will give you the facts and you can put it together”, There is a service in the morning in Nunraw and we attended my friend was brought up Roman Catholic the Popes message this year is about Peace and no poverty in Scotland my god how ironic how wonderful. The lady who is doing my letter she asks to met the priest they go away and they pray for this letter she is writing oh my this has humbled me the finished letter was amazing I could tell Katherine had put her heart and soul into it about helping Scotland’s Vulnerable kids she got it all down how she felt lol a beautiful letter. One last thing to do visit my Brother Stevens grave a monk I loved from Nunraw he died the day I got my charity. We then go to sign the guestbook I see a small booklet St.Kentigerns my that’s the church Wallace was married in at Lanark I helped the local historian make a plan of how it would have originally looked. As we say our goodbyes I met a well dressed man whom I tell about my charity and that I am here to write a letter to Sir Ian wood. He says why not write to SIR TOM FARMER he is very friendly with brother Stevens brother, Brother St.Kentigerns I never knew brother Stevens brothers name but yes I will write to Sir Tom Farmer,

We attend the last service before leaving for home to hear the monks singing when I get a text from my aunty Mary “Jane can you met us at New Lanark I have something for you its you’re Family Tree it’s the right time to give you it now”. I am delighted over the moon we started at New Lanark and this wonderful break will end back at New Lanark we have a lovely meal with them as I look at my family tree they have given me a scarf too it’s the Lindsay Tartan oh my it’s from my gran Jean Lindsay side of Family who came from New Lanark and it has that my family came from Ireland, Newtownards, Holywood and Belfast Docks oh my and that my great great great granddad Samuel Mctear helped to construct Celtic football park he was hit with a brick on the construction and became blind in one eye . McTear and Mclennaghan were the names that jumped out  this Samuel McTear also I read died on NEW YEARS DAY at New Lanark this is where I was New Years day. My nana Jeans brother George was born in the huts at Park head wonder what my dad will say about all this lol himself being a Rangers supporter lol. There is also a relation of mine a McTear from Bellshill who was a golf pro and had a shop. My god my best pal Tommy name is McATear and I have been promoting his gold clubs he is from Bellshill wait till I show him this, one of my family was best friends and sang with Matt Munro too I have relations in Canada one is 104 years old aunty Mattie. Will tell you more once I read it all lol seems we are all Jock Thompsons bairns is a saying we use in Scotland lol What a new year

My friend tells me she was actually a bit down down before she came to Scotland with all that has happened to her and she was thinking about going onto antidepressants but since arriving home she is on top of the world she can not wait to get back and experiance Nunraw again, she sees things through new eyes the love that she got at Nunraw she did not need anything else as everything has been added onto her everything she NEEDS

I also came across this as I was writting this story and would like to share with you all……

It seems that living with passion has a way of expanding us to a higher understanding of ourselves as long as we allow life to move and live through us and open our eyes to the wonder, purity and perfection of the moment.  It is only when we try to manipulate the journey and the outcome that we create the fertile ground for attachment. So often what we hold on to and desire becomes a prison of pain and suffering.

When the journey becomes difficult, as it sometimes does, and the mountains seem too high and valleys far too low, perhaps it is time to not focus so much on where we are going but to focus more on the moment and notice the power of the mountain and the freshness of the valley at sunrise. Our thoughts are things, and we are the great creators of our inner world. When we feel fearful, sad, overwhelmed and empty we must recall that we can choose how to perceive something. The thoughts we have and how we view things and our reaction to that, impacts the quality and creation of our lives. So often, fear disguised as our protector, walks beside us. It fills us with guilt and warns us about our decision to fully experience the journey and our willingness to surrender to the moment. We can choose this protection and perhaps we will appear aloof, mighty and brave with this hard coat of armor, but fear is a dangerous thing. It lures and seduces us and convinces us that we can walk through life unscathed by hurt and pain if only we close our hearts and look at the world and others around us with skeptical and cynical eyes. It can even persuade us to abandon the adventure and kill the thing we love. Fear never tells us about the beauty, joy and profound love we miss, for fear has never experienced those wonders.

How sweet it would be if we could all understand that what we seek is the same. Of what relevance is it that we appear different or call our God by different names? Who can deny that

we all are seeking that elusive thing called happiness? Our cultures, language and ways are so diverse, yet the universal feeling called love is the miracle that dissolves the differences and transports us into our joy. How beautiful it would be if we could all extend our hand and simply be a brother or sister to each other, standing together for the good of humanity in the one universal light. If we choose to stay in the moment of love, walking alone with an open heart, or with like minded and aware companions, we can then release seeing things as wrong, right, good or bad and we no longer stand in judgment of others or the outcome of the journey. Hopefully, we free ourselves to fully experience the richness and wonder of each moment along the way and in doing so are able to view the world through the magical eyes of a child. It is then possible to come to a new understanding of self where we can have the courage to be honest with ourselves and others, thereby giving freely without expectation, honoring, respecting and celebrating our differences and allowing life to simply create itself through us, not as we choose, but as IT chooses.

A year ago, I remember going to the silencers gig at the Abc Glasgow, as I had got friendly with them on a chance meeting at retrofest 07, that I have written about in earlier posts, this was not my first encounter with the Silencers, friends of mine Jimmy and Janet Henderson some 12 years ago took me to see them on the Renfrew ferry this was their favourite band and they took me along, it was great and I ended up meeting the Silencers only because I wanted them to come and met my friends who had taken me to the gig, as I was so grateful, my friend Janet was on crutches at this time suffering from M.s and here I was a year ago taking my friends Jimmy and Janet back to the Silencers, Janet is now in a wheel chair, I had arrange with Jimmy for my friends to met him after the show, it was lovely, Just shows you how History repeats itself and how we create same patterns and everything we do for others comes back to us somewhere in our life. I remember thinking I would love to collect money next year at this gig for Wallace’s Weans

So here we are Samantha and I, We emailed Jimmy in France to see if it was okay for us to collect money at his gig, “no problem” says Jimmy, Sam and I are still recovering from the Simple Minds gig here at Abc few weeks ago. We wonder what’s going to happen this night lol so we set of with our new Wallace’s weans collection buckets and stickers and of course the soltire. As we are driving along the motorway M8, I say to Sam “I got this feeling we should stop off at Real Radio”, Sam says “I was just thinking about them today Ewan and Ruffy from the football phone in, they are so funny” and her words were enough confirmation for me .Sam and I have had some hilarious times with Ruffy and Ewan, when they have phoned me at home and had me live on their football shows and had many collections in the studio for me and my charity if I come in dressed as the Scottish wonder woman and I never have. Just the laughter we felt talking about them made us turn of the motorway at EASTERHOUSE and head to Real Radio we knew we would be late for the Silencers gig that’s nothing new for me as I am always late and I don’t go by time.

We arrive at the studio it’s the 23^rd Dec and as we arrive someone appears at the door at the same time we did,we do not even have to ring the bell they take us in and we sit a couple of minutes till the brake in their show, I love the hilarity of the football phone in, so here appears Ruff and Ewan who know us well and they are asking us into their studio we just go with the flow here in the studio is Satanta clause all dressed in red suit white beard and they tell me to sit on his knee, next to Ruffy who is on the mulled wine lol, and Samantha is over beside Ewan we have no idea this is live on Satanta to the football nation, it was laugh a min as Ewan introduces the Scottish wonder woman on his show then asks Satanta clause does he want to talk about the first thing that rises lol to my embarrassment, they then live on the show give me money for my charity and I get to say a big thank you to Jimmy O’Neil and a thank you to Mark McGee for helping us at the simple minds gig. We get to announce we are on our way to the silencers gig, Ruffy and Ewan are fantastic to me and they help with shouts to where the Scottish Wonder Woman will be. I need them for to get the tartan army behind this charity. everything is an exchange everyone you met you will exchange something does not matter if they are the poorest or the richest people in Scotland there will be an exchange. and when I need a shout on the radio for my charity it’s not been a problem for Real Radio. Boss man Jay Crawford has helped me with tickets to Hampden to see the Eagles and I am so grateful he has also helped Colin with his radio work, you can always rely on a Crawford lol

I also leave a DVD that Colin has made for Jay Crawford from the Simple Minds SECC concert and an xmas card another reason why we stopped into Real Radio. We came out the studio laughing and laughing thinking you just don’t know who was listening to that lol as my phone starts going nuts mabey those plumbers we met at the simple minds gig lol

Sam and I are no stranger to the radio as we remember many years ago what happened to us with the hats. The Hat girls were invited to a show in Glenrothes by Uri Geller and I knew every word he was going to say on the stage I am whispering to Sam he is going to say number 11 or 11.11 and football, as I nudged Samantha to tell her what he was going to say next,

I kept accidently hitting a guy behind us about 5 times this happened, at the time we loved beat 106 radio station so I emailed them about the Hat girls next thing I get an email come on my show I am the guy that was sitting behind you at the Uri Gellar show you kept hitting. No way, sure enough it was Matt Findlay beat 106 and Samantha and I went to the studio to talk about the hats and this incredible logo it was absolutely hilarious and as I recall there was a big football game on at hampden. We later went to a gig with beat 106 called "May the force be with you" we got a lift home by Paul Harper and Eugene that was in big brother. Sam at the time stayed in a huge house which had pigs and chickens. The chickens were wondering about freely. I remember listening next morning to Paul Harper on beat 106 breakfast show telling his story how he turned up in the middle of nowhere and chickens crossing the road in front of him. Really funny, don’t think Paul Harper will forget us. Sadly beat 106 is no more. I also got to be the voice over for t in the park where I would shout "T in the park" at the top of my voice over the air waves lol handy when you got to the campsite I would just shout “T IN THE PARK” and you could see them think where have I heard that before thats the power of media straight into the sub conscious mind. It’s the super conscious mind I am more interested in the place where the divine plan of your life lies and not the conditioned here you will find your true answers your soul purpose

I remember Waiting on a Friday Saturday night to come around to hear Stevie Kerr on beat 106 this guy was amazing and I later met him in Roses Falkirk where he was doing a set the song that stands out was a dance mix of u2s "walking towards the sun", and all those top d.js I was hearing on his radio shows I went on to met at the global gathering mind blowing I just love music.

Matt Findlay from beat 106 then sent Sam and I along to a spirit aid gig where we met a guy called David we enjoyed the earth dance music but I needed more energy gig something different and Scottish, celtic with drums, knights ,Kings ,Queens, castle , bagpipes, history, kilts, tartan army, passion, freedom, peace, and Love and had no idea how I was going to bring it about I could see the concert feel the vibration and hear it in my mind hopefully the super conscious mind.

Now I needed a dance event and while shopping one day I picked up a free magazine, in it was a dance event called Rezerection, I thought perfect for resurrecting Wallace in a positive light. so I phoned the guy up that had just bought over rezerection and told him what I wanted to do he said his son was born on September the 11^th and that he used to draw wonder woman for a newspaper so he arranged to come to Lanark to met Scottish wonder woman and I showed him all the Wallace sites and took him to my river where the waterfall is I take everybody here whom I met its beautiful, he asked if I knew that he had had 7 Scottish hit records I said no he said his biggest hit was “Real Love” he said under his umbrella he also had Lange that mixed the “braveheart theme” and QFX who had the hit “freedom” no way unbelievable, he did go on to release a cd that Christmas that featured brave heart, simple minds, Texas, Midge Ure and many more and all the Scottish bands sang by he himself so the music was put out years ago for this gig, I just had to find a way of raising the money and putting it all together find the funders and the sponsors, we also discovered our childhoods were very alike and we both wanted to help kids vulnerable kids of Scotland and that music had been our escape, our love and our passion in good times and bad

I remember saying to this guy that I had a favourite quote it was “what does it profit a man who gains the whole world and loses his soul", he went a funny colour he said to me” Jane my father was dying of cancer and I had a number one hit in the charts when I went to make a phone call from the hospital lying on the floor was a piece of paper with that quote written on it”, we just looked at each other and we knew we were going to one day do this gig. this was not just about scotlands biggest d.js I had just met the world’s biggest and been a guest of theirs at Birmingham global gathering 2 years in a row, still not realising what it was all for. I also had no idea the Campbell’s helped Wallace and fought on the fields of Bannockburn

I had not seen the guy with rezerection for a few years a few emails etc i had to raise the money first. I was working in the clyde valley selling spa’s, hotubs right next to my river I love I was sent to Chelmsford training for this job, I was sent to waterfront place Chelmsford, on returning to my workplace which was beutiful, this guy walked in to buy a hot tub £15,000 hot tub I was needing to sell a few this day to pay for a holiday to Mount Etna for Colin, another lady had just bought one Mrs Wilson because she heard simple minds playing from the hot tub from a cd i had put into its sound system when she came into look at them, Brendan had given me the c.d as it was free in the newspaper the day after my gran’s diamond wedding party 22^nd April 07 she said I was at their concert years ago and she was smiling as she remembered and she bought the spa and building that went round about it, I had two sales now that gave me the money for Colins mount Etna trip. The guy that bought the £15,000 spa asked if I would help him find a house in the area to put his spa in me being kind I said yes I just happened to have a copy of the local newspaper as my gran and grandpas diamond wedding photos were in it April 07 and so I arranged 3 house viewings for the guy, he picked me up after work in a black Porsche 911 I went along and as we chapped the door of this house in the Clyde valley. the guy that owned rezerection opened the door we both just looked at each other again unbelievable, that’s what you’re own kindness does, it comes right back at you, I had been thinking about getting in contact with rezerection and here it was. Sadly Colin and I never got to Mount Etna and this upsets me to this day, but we will divine timing.

We arrive at the Abc and the silencers are on stage my favourite songs are "I can feel it", "Old mountain thyme", "Real Macoy" and many more, it’s nice to see everyone for the first time with Wallace’s weans solitaire stickers on for this charity it’s nice to see your dreams taking shape we met with Jimmy’s entourage his family and friends who give us after show passes we met lots of wonderful people from France and we raised £200 in half an hour as people were leaving most people driving to the gig had heard us on Real Radio lol and Jimmy was delighted he had got a free plug on the radio he gave us his commitment to perform for us when we get our gig and he liked the whole concept behind this gig. What goes around comes around everything we do from the heart come back to us that’s the law of the universe.

I’m going dressed as the Scottish Wonder Woman because I told Mel the drummer of Simple Minds that I would at the SECC, I was reminded recently by Wananeeche this is my outer ego, to me it’s a tool, most people remember seeing the Scottish Wonder Woman than they do plain Jane. I have been listening to Wananneches c.d Journey to the spirit its very good and I just started reading his new book enlightening the spirit that he left me on his last visit, I say to Samantha this is a better book to get to Jim as Simple Minds have just written a song  called Shaman I was told at the SECC so we have the book and cd with us to give to Jim I have signed it showing active faith it will get to him.

I have been out in the public eye for 5 years as the Scottish Wonder Woman before I got my charity number marketing my project to see what Scotland’s people thought about this charity and a charity concert for Scotland’s kids, it defiantly ignites passion in people fighting for Kids here in Scotland usually the first thing they say is charity begins at home

We arrive at the Abc, I have been here a year ago to see the Silencers, It’s quite a dark looking place to me , not at all like the SECC, we put our coats into the cloakroom and make our way to the front of the stage I’m not that inconspicuous the night lol dressed like this, we first met two guys at the front of the stage, we get talking to them about the concert at SECC and my charity one is pals with Duffy the guitarist of Simple Minds the other owns a music magazine his name is Jamie, Jamie tells me he used to managed Les McEwan I have just been emailing Les management team this week as I met Les by chance a few years previous

I worked for Cruise the clothing company in Livingston where round the corner there is a bar called Chicago Rock where the Bay City Rollers were playing one night, I went along and ended up being invited back to the hotel by the guitarest Syi and got to tell Les about my charity, he himself and the band had been up at the Wallace monument on their way up to Scotland ironic. Les was all for a gig like this on September the 11th he himself knowing the damage alcohol has done to him, and as Les honestly states that the alcohol helps him deal with issues he has unresolved from his trials of life, and if he can help kids not go down the same road he would, what keeps Les going his music

I bumped into Les McEwan twice after that and Syi the guitarist whose Birthday Was September 11th I had taken a friend along to see the Bay City Rollers she was auditioning for the x factor the next day and I took her to met Les and the band my friends mother was dieing of cancer at the time and I wanted to cheer her up, Les gave me a signed soltire flag to give to Sharon Osborn from himself which I delivered personally, I was not auditioning for the x factor but ended up with the Lord Mayor of Glasgow and Simon, Danni and Louie for the clip for the x factor for Glasgow the production team said they had never seen anyone so patriotic  before lol,Ialso met George Bowie and Des Mclean here . I have not seen Les for a while and had decided to email him as I was looking for his commitment to perform at my gig, and here I am stood with a guy who managed him, he tells me Les is in rehab getting sorted out which is wonderful he gives us his card. These two guys ask us if we are going to the after show party we say well we just see what happens.

I don’t have the same vibe as I did at SECC there are a lot of people getting drunk round about us, Simple Minds take to the stage, Samantha who has never seen them live thinks they are great, half way through the gig she disappears away to the bar for a glass of wine. I stand and watch the show with the two guys we have met, there are some different songs in this set from the set at the SECC my two favourites “Let There Be Love” and “She’s a river”. I have never seen these songs performed live before and they make my night also another song I thought was brilliant by Simple Minds was “Love Song”. There was no Belfast child at this gig. “Don’t you forget about me” came on I did not want to get my soltire on stage tonight as I have my charity name on this one, Wallace’s weans charity and it was a cash for kids night which I respected. So we all just waved it about and turn to the crowd and waved it and waved it up at the balcony God knows who was sat up there in the balcony

Fallen Angel Rosslyn

My friend Brendan is yet again in this crowd but I cannot find him he is a fireman our Brendan, Celtic and Simple Minds daft his family are from Ireland. He is the one who has sent me c.ds of simple minds in the past and has told me to contact Jim with my charity. I met Brendan on a night out in west Lothian 5 year ago where I was stranded after not being able to get a taxi home after meeting him in a nigt club I remember singing “rescue me” before I went out that night lol my car broke down that night and I phoned my road side service this resue me song was played down the phone as I waited on an advisor lol. He rescued me took me to his house he lived with his mother a lovely lady called Catherine. I remember at his house I ask him what was his links to Rosslyn chapel are; he shows me a book he is reading on Rosslyn opened at the page of the fallen angel then he shows me another book of the pyramids of Egypt.I notice the child of prague on top of the t.v. a statue my friend Janie has told me about its ment to be very lucky. He shows me to the spare room what a gentleman on the way up the stairs I see a huge picture of an album cover hanging on the wall, Brendan says it’s Simple Minds an album picture. I can hear his mothers radio she must sleep with radio on I do that sometimes. In the morning Brendan comes in the room to see I was okay he has this sacred heart on his t-shirt I don’t know whether to get on my knees and pray or give him a kiss lol. I ask about it he says it’s Simple Minds T-shirt. Next thing his lovely mother shouts”Brendan put The TV on Rosslyn Chapels on” we both just looked at each other. I dare say we did end up going to Rosslyn chapel this day and him showing me a few of the secrets I had missed in the carvings, next time I visited Brendan  and his mother he has a t-shirt on with hands tied with a gold rope. I ask him why he has my wonder woman’s gold rope of truth tied round those hands on his t-shirt no many girls carry gold ropes which was quite intriguing, he says it’s a simple minds album cover lol. I also appreciated a dvd Brendan gave me, of his favourite film “A WONDERFUL LIFE”. I am also gateful that he encouraged me to go to Birmingham when invited to the global gathering with the d.j set Push with there smash hit”Universal Nation”,the drummer Ivan is also a Begium Rock Musician, an experience I will never forget Sadly Brendan’s mother passed away last year and I know because of his mother’s love of music and his this Simple Minds Concert will be healing him, because Love heals and he certainly loves Simple Minds.

After the show I look around for Samantha I think well I don’t think anything else will happen tonight except I did bump into the guys I met in Belgium the O.M.D. fans from night of the proms which are in the picture in last story that was nice. I make my way to get my jacket and as I turn around in the que there is Sir Tom Hunter stood in front of me he had just came down the stairs from the balcony” Hi Tom Remember me from the eagles concert the girl who wants to resurrect Wallace without the fighting and focus more on his courage and passion to overcome adversity for the vulnerable Scottish Kids” and here I am stood dressed as the Scottish wonder woman lol. Last time I met Sir Tom and Lady Marion I was just Plain Jane lol aw Brilliant.

I them find Samantha who has been talking to a group of business looking men she wants to introduce me to them so I make my way over, they ask if we would like to join them at the after show party, I look at them I say but you have no passes as we make our way to the after show these guys did not need passes it was like the parting of the red sea , as the security men did not question them. I am stood asking this man who he was he gave me a funny hand shake and said”  if I tell you I will need to kill you “which made me laugh I just replied “courage brother” which made him laugh. I said ” aw I have this book and cd in my bag I would like to get to Jim” he said ” give it to me I will get it to him” I reluctantly gave it to him still not knowing who he was the other 6 guys with him they told Samantha and I that they are plumbers. Billy Sloan then appears in the room I ask Billy who this guy is whom we are with he says that’s Mark McGee he used to play for Celtic and he is the manager of Motherwell football team, as I return back over I hear this Mark McGee ask if he can see Jim No Chance he is told he will not come up from back stage well he asks can I see Jimmy the father next thing Jim Kerr’s father appears right in front of me and is talking to Mark McGee manager of Motherwell football club x Celtic player I stand there Humbly, Mark McGee has my book and c.d. in his arms. I wait a while then I ask Jims Father if he can get this book to Jim and cd as I prise it out Mark McGee’s arms. He kindly replied yes I will give it to him right now. When he left the room Mark Mcgee said” I was going to give him it”.”aye right” I said, the plumbers want Samantha and I to go to a club called the 29 club, what dressed as Scottish Wonder Woman Lol no chance. Jamie then appears whom we have met at front of stage Duffy and Andy Gillespie are here also.

I need a bit of fresh air, I make my way down the stairs to the front door the street is cordoned off there are fire engines everywhere and smoke belting out the building across the road there are people hanging out of the windows waiting to be rescued I stop and watch for a while thinking all these people in here oblivious to what’s going on out here and those poor frightened people. I can’t shift the Jim Morrison song from my head come on baby light my fire.

I return back in and Samantha is deep in conversation with  people I sit and watch the people across the road from the window being rescued from the fire and the firemen bringing under control the smoke the whole of Saucihall street have gathered to watch what is happening what a wonderful job these firemen and firewoman do. They have laid all the equipment out on the ground to be checked after everything is under control I decide to go down for a last look to put my mind at rest everyone is okay. on the way down the stairs I met with Jim Kerr and his ontarage coming down the other stairs which met in the middle I did not find it appropriate to approach Jim dressed as the Scottish wonder Woman and wonder woman does not run up for an autograph or a picture lol anyway I have signed his book for him lol.

Mike

I stand outside and when I am convinced everything is under control across the road, the street is still cordoned off , I return to get Samantha all she can think about is a bag of chips from the chip shop across the road. There is no black Porsche 911 to pick Sam and I up tonight but I know there will also be no bigotry, no verbal abuse,and no hatred with alcohol  personally Sam and  I Would rather walk,,  Samantha and I drive home. I stay at Samantha’s she tells me to grab a t-shirt out her drawer to sleep in, which I do to my surprise it has California on it and two guitars we laugh we think of our time at Hotel California in London and my friend Mike Stark in California who works on pacific radio with Bill Ward Rock 5o show we have been talking on the net for 8 years now since the hat days he had me live on the radio from the live8 concert from Hyde park lol he has just put together an interview with Bruce Springsteen what’s our favourite song Mike and I it would have to be the Cult with their mad hats and the song “she sells sanctuary”how did  I met Mike by chance I was trying to get one of our hats to Usher and I came across Mike whom I asked how to contact Usher. Mike just happened to be on the net that day. Mikes friend, a well known music critic in Calfonia had just died his name John Wood no joking you can email him ask unbelivable here is this name again ,we have been friends ever since he keeps asking when are you coming over to California to met me and my family.mikestark.net (playlist 2/3) I have not been over to see Mike yet as I’m afraid of Earthquakes but next year I will overcome that fear.

I’m still singing come on baby light my fire …Samantha says do you not know anymore words lol Samantha and I realise these guys we have been talking to were certainly not plumbers but most probably football players which team we have no idea lol maybe MOTHERWELL.

When I arrive he is watching the war memorial service it’s remembrance Sunday his grandfather fought in the second world war and another in the first world war, he seemed upset at this and had already started Drinking, I tell him I can’t help him no more and he continues to drink, as the drink starts to kick in he starts shouting his usual bigotry and sectarianism, he starts to get aggressive, It’s time for me to leave.I am grateful to his teaching of the secondworld war he constantly watched war films. I can’t help think how many woman and men live like this in their homes with abusive partners? what about the kids that witness this day in day out what effect does this have on them?, do they grow up and treat woman or men the same as they think this is the norm?. I myself have seen a lot of men and woman get ill with staying in relationships with abusive partners.

Now totally focused on my charity I have been given two tickets for my birthday for the Simple Minds Concert by my friends, they Know I would love this song “Don’t You Forget about me” by Simple Minds for the vulnerable Kids Of Scotland and for Simple Minds to Perform at a freedom charity concert here in Scotland as it’s not just about any band it’s about the energy the band creates and the thought that’s put out for Freedom and peace from the heart and there is no better date for a concert  for this to happen than September the 11th (anniversary of the battle of Stirling Bridge) resurrecting William Wallace Without the fighting associated with him and focusing on his passion and courage to overcome adversity for the vulnerable kids in Scotland.

I decide to take my son Colin 14 along to this concert although he has not been involved with my alcoholic friend, seeing his mother get sad and down because she cannot help this guy has affected him. This will be Colin’s first concert and he is no stranger to music he has been working for a radio station on the internet for 2 years now. We are very excited and a lot of Snow has fallen this week running up to the concert so we have decide to book into a Hotel in Glasgow, Rennie MacIntosh and get the train in to Colin’s delight

We arrive at our hotel drop our bags and go a walk around the streets of Glasgow its lovely because all the Christmas lights are on, it’s cold and Colin wants a new scarf we make our way to Argyle Street where on the way we are stopped by a Buddhist monk I have very little change on me but I gave him all I had, I tell him a little about my own charity and that we are going to the Simple Minds Concert, He then delves into his bag and hands me a book he said give this to Jim Kerr he will love it. The book was called Srimad Bhagavatam The science of God. In the middle of Argyle Street there is a beautiful market and they are selling those hats we used to promote lol that took us to London. There is a Native American band playing on Argyle Street dressed in their traditional costumes.

Night of the proms Belgium

We are ready and we are on our way to the SECC, I have decided not to take the book that was given to me for Jim. I have the usual outfit on, Kilt, Wallace’s Weans T-shirt, and my Soltire, dressed the very same as Night of the proms Belgium where Jim took my soltire on stage and where I got my charity stuff to Jims Minder Whom I bumped into lol. We are sat up on the balcony no way of getting near the front of the stage and if we did it was only the first four rows that are allowed to go to the front. Colin says never mind mums just accept it very clever because until we accept things in our mind things will not change. Everyone round about us were lovely and they were all shaking Collins hand saying he must be the youngest simple minds fan here lol, one guy asked Colin what football team he like he said them all, the guy behind said I am a hibs supporter, I’m thinking we have no links with hibs except I would love to get the proclaimers whom I have met 3 times on board this charity. I tell the stranger who is sat directly behind me I would love to take Colin to the front of the stage. He puts his hand on my shoulders and whispers you’re opportunity will come.

Brendan my friend is somewhere down the front,he is the one who has lead me to the minds and who has told me Jim Kerr is the salt of the earth he will help with you’re charity. I have tried texting him to take Colin done the front but he never replied maybe he could not hear his phone for the music.

My friend Billy Sloan appears on stage to announce The Alarm and we watch their set in anticipation of Simple Minds, as the Alarm leave the stage I hear Williams Blood coming from the stage by Grace Jones a great song and I think of  Wallace’s weans charity.

The start of waterfront strikes up, these fantastic blue lights come on as Simple Minds belt out waterfront. I get up and stand in the gap where the stairs are next to my seat to fly my soltire for my charity, when this dark haired guy runs up the stairs towards me he says “give us a shot of you’re soltire I’m Jims cousin I’m the boxer from the other side of the family”. I give him the soltire and he waves it for a while then leaves. Colin is videoing the show we are having a great time and the Nelson Mandela song comes on making me feel a little guilty when I remember that I did not go to his birthday concert and went to Rhodes instead, I ask Colin if he would like to go for a drink of cola he said yes and we make our way out to the main hall where the drinks are being served,  we meet a guy called Frank who asks us if we are enjoying the concert we say yes but it’s a shame we are near the back up on the stands. He said come with us we are at the front of the stage there are two empty seats as my friends are at front of stage. Colin and I follow them right past security right along the 4th row till I was seated at the end of the row right in front of Jim Kerr no better position in the entire arena being a huge gap next to me I could stand there unbelievable. Colin and I just look at each other hope Jim remembers me from Belgium and that his minder has given him the newspaper clips about this charity Wallace’s weans. Jim waves down from the stage I’m thinking well he must have read them, Colin and I enjoy the whole show and I am waiting on the song “Don’t you forget about me” for Scotland’s Kids. I am hoping Jim takes the soltire as he did in Belgium, as” Don’t you forget about me strikes up” I squeeze my way to the front and I give the security guy the flag to lay on the stage , if Jim picks it up he picks it up if not it does not matter. Jim certainly picks up the flag and the crowd go nuts he then drapes it over Mel’s drums Brilliant, this girl that has now appeared next to me she shouts .well done well f…… done , me I’m cheering for the Scottish Kids and I am imaging the minds on stage doing this for Wallace’s Weans, When the same girl puts two Tickets in my hand I look at them they are two back stage passes the girl says she works for real radio and her and her husband just want to go home after the show. My god what a stroke of luck I show Colin we just look at each other. Frank he just can’t believe it.Colin and I can because this happens to me all the time,when i am on my charity path.

Belfast child strikes up this has to be my favourite song of the night it gave me goose bumps in one part at the end when the flute comes in it was triggering something what’s it triggering?  I search my subconscious I realise it sounds a little like the braveheart theme. I remember thinking I don’t have any links to Belfast I will have to ask my gran Jean, I know her family came from Ireland but I do not know what part. Colin his favourite song of the night is Home.

Colin and I thank Frank and his friends very much for being so kind in bringing us to the front of the stage as we are so grateful. We then make our way to the after show party.We just happen to stand next to a group of people who are very nice they say they could not help see me dancing at front of stage with my soltire, I tell them of my charity and why I am here I would love the opportunity to tell Jim about it, to see if he can help me if not I still have fourgood men who do the song “don’t you forget about me” they tell me fourgood men are playing at classic grand that same night, they tell us they are Jims friends and he will be here any minute, I start to feel unwell although I have wanted to tell my story it’s all been a bit much for me tonight. I ask if these nice guys would get my son a drink of cola at the bar while I go to the toilet.

I come back into the room and there is Colin with Duffy the guitarist of the band Duffy gives Colin his plectrum as he has seen Colin playing with his mobile he tells Colin learn the guitar. Then in come Charlie Burchell he makes me laugh, I am on the phone to Samantha and I ask Charlie to Say Hi to her which he does. Then I met Mel the drummer I tell him a little about my charity and he says why not come as Scottish wonder woman on Sunday night for the cash for kids event, we sadly never got to met Jim Kerr he never arrived at the after show I was told someone in his family was unwell.

Colin and I have a wonderful night the best birthday present ever to see Colin happy again and to have been with him at his first ever concert that’s something he will never forget , as we are just about to leave I bump into Billy Sloan whom gives me a much needed cuddle as it has all been a bit too much, I’ve waited a while to get this charity out there and met Billy at T in the Park in 2005 as Scottish Wonder Woman Shouting about a charity concert for Scotland vulnerable Kids for the 700th anniversary of Wallace, which they never got.

There was defiantly magic in the air this night Colin and I both felt it, and I have to do it all again in 3 nights time with Samantha at the ABC Glasgow. Samantha and I are totally fed up with putting our radio on and Simple Minds playing every time we do this, It doesn’t matter where we are, when we put radio on in car its always simple minds that comes on, we want to know as well as everyone else what’s this all about,  God only knows what’s going to happen to us at the cash for kids event at the ABC, But as usual I look with wonder and I hope I am promised a miracle for my charity

They are doing a story on a philanthropist called Sir Ian Wood he is being filmed in a school with children encouraging them to become philanthropists and he is giving them money to give to their chosen charities what a wonderful idea.

I wonder how many people out there know the power of philanthropy I know it, the philanthropist know it. They know the secret the more money they give away from the heart the more will return to them 10 fold, the Jewish people all knew this, The church and the Catholic church all knew this, There was a book called seed money I was given many years ago on this subject, it had been taken off the shelves many years ago. You can also find this subject in the Napolian Hill Book “Think and Grow Rich”. Even Andrew Carnegie Knew the power of Philanthropy.

I myself love Andrew Carnegie’s Story and I met a man I wrote about in earlier posts who took me to Andrew Carnegie’s House in Dunfermline, and to the museum he bought me books on him, Andrew Carnegie’s wisdom I knew and I had read before in another book I was given. Andrew Carnegie loved William Wallace and Robert the Bruce and often wrote about them in his books whenever Andrew came to a crossroads in his life he would say “what would Wallace and Bruce do now? ” . It is also written in Andrew Carnegie’s  book that children take passion and courage from William Wallace, wonder if the people with the Carnegie medal have read Carnegie’s books?.

I was also taken to the pittencrieff park in Dunfermline and learned the history of King Malcolme and Queen Margaret and their son King David I, I had no idea my Crawford linage Family saved King David from a  wild Stag and founded Holyrood Abbey at Edinburgh castle in commemoration, hence the logo on my Crawford family crest of a stags head and the cross of Lorrain with the motto “I will make you safe with strength”. I was surprised to find my name started from a  Danish chief named Thorlongus (Latin for Thor) whose father, Leofwine of Mercia and grandfather of Edulf of east Anglia had married into the Anglo Saxon monarchy of England in the late 900s and early 1000s. As descendants of Alfred the great king of England, Thor and his predossors were beneficiaries to lands and grants in the English jurisdiction of Mercia which was known as Merce in Scotland, however in 1066 William the Norman defeated Thor’s cousin king Harold at the battle of Hastings 1066 during Harrods first year as king afterwards William the Norman began purging the Anglo Saxon land holders in England to consolidate his control by eliminating the sovereignty.

Scottish king Malcolme Canmore (reign 1057-1093) was raised in England. In 1068 after the battle of Hastings Malcolme married King Harold’s Sister Margaret. As the Norman purges progressed after 1066, Thor was driven from Mercia in England to Northumberland in southern Scotland sometime between 1068 and 1070 where he was granted asylum by his cousin queen Margaret’s husband king Malcolme consolidating his power in Scotland against William the Norman benefited Malcome, William invaded Lothian by sea in late 1071 and stayed till he peacefully negotiated a treaty with Malcome in early 1072

Thor’s seal contains a few noteworthy points first the seal was used at the close of the 11th century and is representative of seals from Thor era it has the inscription “Thor sends his friendship” in Latin. The figure in the seal is wearing a kilt in the ancient tradition and the kilt appears to be made in a tartan pattern. A plaid is worn over the shoulder with a traditional plaid brooch.

Thor had a son Swane (Anglo for Sven) who was granted lands of Swinton (Sven town) in Northumbria west of York. Sven had a son Galfridus who migrated to Lanarkshire Scotland (where I live) and later defined adjacent parishes Crawford and Crawfordjohn were granted to the sons of Galfridus, king Edgar (1097-1107) or his brother king alexander1 (1107-1124) who were cousins of Galfridus Crawford, apparently granted Galfridus land in Lanarkshire which was previously known as the barony of Crawford. Galfridus whose wife was apparently the first Celt in the line had two sons Hugh and Reginald Crawford (watch these names repeat right up to Wallace’s Grandfather) from the eldest son Hugh came the prime branch of Crawford parish within the original barony chartered to Galfridus. Another portion of the original barony later known as crawfordjohn parish was granted to Reginald (1080-1160)

Two Crawford knights served under king David I (1124-1153) Sir John (Johannes) and Sir Gregan de Crawford who were sons of the previous mentioned Reginald of Crawfordjohn parish, as I mentioned earlier this is Gregan Crawford who saved king David from the stag

Remembering I also have Lindsay blood in me as well as Crawford from my grandparents with the names  William Crawford and Jean Lindsay I read on to find this. In the charter of William Lindsay conferred by King William the lion (1165-1214) Johannes de Crawford is mentioned. The Crawford family is also mentioned in the charters 1170, 1190, 1228, 1230, and 1248.The Crawford’s in the upper Strathclyde had for many years been allied with the Lindsay family with evidence in land charters and marriages. Lindsay’s served as the Earl of Crawford ( the parish in Lanarkshire) beginning with Sir James Lindsay in 1398 in about 1220 the ancestors of James Lindsay, Sir David de Lindsay of Wauchopdale married the heiress of the Earldom, the younger daughter of the chartered land holder John Crawford. Sir John Crawford died without male issue in 1248 leaving two Crawford daughters previously in about 1215 the elder daughter Margaret married ARCHIBALD DE DOUGLAS ancestor of the DOUGLASES whose descendants can be traced, and herE was me as a child playing in Archibald’s tomb which also holds the tomb of the good Sir James Douglas at St.Brides church Douglas where my grandparents lived. I had no idea the Crawford’s and Lindsay’s were linked to the Douglass there was more to be revealed read on McDuff.

Without male heirs in the prime family branch, the right to clan chief passed from the prime male heirs of Galfridus 1st son Hugh to the prime male heirs of his second son Reginald thus when John Crawford died in 1248 the current sheriff of Ayr became the clan chief in this manner the right to clan chief was established in the Auchinames branch of clan Crawford as the continuous line of prime male heirs of Galfridus second son, Reginald of Crawfordjohn parish

Yet another Sir Reginald de Crawford (1180-1250) from Crawfordjohn parish was appointed the sheriff of Ayr by William the lion (1165-1214),the crown office of High Sheriff of Ayr was long held by the prime male descendants. The sheriff was essentially the crowns chief executive and decided appeals from the courts of barony throughout the shire In about 1200 the Arms of Loudoun was quartered by Reginald on the marriage of Margaret de Loudoun the heiress of that extensive barony. By tradition of inheritance, the he second sheriff of Ayr was Hugh the oldest son of the first sheriff. John a younger son of this first sheriff of Ayr is the ancestor of the clan branch at Crawfurdlands an Ayrshire finally a great grandson of the first sheriff of Ayr was granted Auchinames in Lanarkshire by King Robert the Bruce. Sir William Crawford of Elcho accompanied his cousin William Wallace to the French court of King Phillip in 1299 to plead the case of Scottish independence. Wallace’s younger brother John and uncle Sir Reginald Crawford both of whom were prominent in the service to both Wallace and Robert the Bruce were executed in Carlisle in 1307 for their loyalty to Wallace. Wallace had been executed earlier in august1305 in London in the year of our lord 1314, patriots of Scotland, starving and outnumbered charged the fields of Bannockburn. They fought like warrior poets. They fought like Scotsmen and won their freedom. As Bannockburn is in Stirlingshire just north of Lanark there is NO DOUT THAT THE CRAWFORDS AND WALLACES OLDER BROTHER MALCOME FOUGHT IN MEMORY OF THEIR PREVIOUSLY EXECUTED NEPHEWS, BROTHERS, AND UNCLES, in this struggle for Scottish independence

William Crawford Leading Battle of Stirling Bridge 11 September

During the reign of James II (1437-1460) the Earl of Douglas allied with his cousin, the most powerful Nobel south of the river Forth, the Earl of Crawford to counter the power of the king in a long running dispute. Crawford (Lindsay) continually ravaged the lands of the church of St Andrews to weaken the ability of the king to prosecute Douglas being frustrated the king personally murdered Douglas which eventually lead to the lynching of the king,

The last struggles of the protestant reformation were waged in the late 1500s Queen Mary who attempted to reinstall a catholic regency was exiled to France but still controlled Dumbarton and Edinburgh castle her son James v1 was protestant and controlled the remainder of the country on April 2nd 1578 Thomas Crawford of Jordanhill a member of the household of lord Darnley (husband of Mary queen of Scots) captured Dumbarton castle for James v1 in a raid reminiscent of the era of William Wallace using ropes and ladders. Thomas and his small force of 150 men in the darkness of early morning scaled the seemingly insurmountable cliffs and walls protecting the fortress. Sir James Flemming (my other gran’s name is  Flemming lol) and his wife were the only escapees from the castle with the motto ex pugnavi as a commemorative of the event sir Thomas Crawford later received the surrender of Edinburgh castle. It’s absolutely amazing my family history and I had no idea before I set up this charity that this would all unfold.

I started to think, I would really like to meet Sir Ian wood but he stays in Aberdeen, I wonder how can I get in touch with him. Next day I am sent 2 tickets for the philanthropy debate in Edinburgh by the community foundation I have in the past asked them for funding and on the ticket it tells me Sir Ian wood will be on the panel hear is the perfect opportunity to met him fantastic. I have never heard of Sir Ian wood before and I would like to know more about him,I find out he made his money from oil and his company name is John Wood group oh no here is my papas name again that took me to London and to Uri Gellers House. I have arranged to go to this debate with Samantha my partner in my charity she has been with me from the very beginning of this journey, we arrive at the college of physicians in Edinburgh for the debate there are Lords and Ladies here Millionaires and philanthropists. We sit through the show which is being recorded for TV, after the event I make my way down to met Sir Ian Wood he is busy talking to Lords and Ladies as I humbly wait for my turn to introduce myself and my charity Wallace’s weans, I ask Sir Ian Wood where he got the name for his company he said it was his father’s name John Wood I tell him this is also my papa name he gives me his personal email to write to him about my charity. After the show Sam and I met two guys who are there for their charity the sports foundation one is called David he looks like Frankly Detorie the jokey, and they are very funny they tell me they have raised 4 million pounds last year for their charity which is incredible. Dr Frank from the university fo Glasgow the other who is with David, can see how big the potential is for this Wallace’s weans charity not only by resurrecting William Wallace as a charity figure for the vulnerable kids of Scotland there is a huge healing taking place with a concert of this magnitud on September 11th he can see a healing for Scotland, England and America especially with Americas new president Obama, turning around and doing something good on September the 11 th. America took their independence treaty from the declaration of Arbroath. Now I can start to see why I have been this half Scottish half American wonder woman or Wallace woman lol

I also remember writing to Sir Tom Hunter about our vulnerable kids here in Scotland a wonderful man Sir Tom Hunter who I found out is friends with Varten Gregorian president of the Andrew Carnegie corporation of New-York which was established in 1911, and was on the board to choose the design of the new twin tower which is to be called FREEDOM tower. Can they not see the potential Scotland has I must admit Sir Tom at the time of writing to him was in court with a Jon Wood with something to do with Birthdays chain of stores (here is my papas name again) and I was told to contact the Bank of Scotland for funding by Ewan hunter no relation of Sir Tom and Lady Marion, as their focus was on Africa and saving the planet. I have since bumped into Sir Tom Hunter By chance at the Eagles Concert on June 23rd 2006 day before anniversary of Bannockburn, Just to remind him of Scotland’s Vulnerable kids and how I felt they lost out on a concert for the 700th anniversary of Wallace to the live8 concert and the potential Scotland has to lead the way by resurrecting William Wallace in a positive light without the fighting,  focusing on his passion and courage to overcome adversity as many children have to do in Scotland every day and  in the rest of the word for that matter, with a huge Freedon and peace concert on September the 11th 2011  to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the twin towers, to provide freedom centres for the vulnerable kids of Scotland that cannot concentrate at school they are so worried what will happen at home. I will bump into Sir Tom again I have no doubt when I least expect it

He was born in Tabriz, Iran, of Armenian parents, receiving his elementary education in Iran and his secondary education in Lebanon. In 1956 he entered Stanford University, where he majored in history and the humanities, graduating with honors in 1958. He was awarded a Ph.D. in history and humanities from Stanford in 1964.

Gregorian has taught European and Middle Eastern history at San Francisco State College, the University of California at Los Angeles, and the University of Texas at Austin. In 1972 he joined the University of Pennsylvania faculty and was appointed Tarzian Professor of History and professor of South Asian history. He was founding dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania in 1974 and four years later became its twenty-third provost until 1981.

For eight years (1981-1989), Gregorian served as a president of the New York Public Library, an institution with a network of four research libraries and eighty-three circulating libraries. In 1989 he was appointed president of Brown University.

Gregorian is the author of The Road To Home: My Life And Times, Islam: A Mosaic, Not A Monolith, and The Emergence of Modern Afghanistan, 1880-1946. A Phi Beta Kappa and a Ford Foundation Foreign Area Training Fellow, he is a recipient of numerous fellowships, including those from the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation, the American Council of Learned Societies, the Social Science Research Council and the American Philosophical Society. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts of Sciences, and the American Philosophical Society. In 1969, he received the Danforth Foundation’s E.H. Harbison Distinguished Teaching Award.

He serves on the boards of the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, Human Rights Watch, The World Trade Center Memorial Foundation, and the Museum of Modern Art. He agrees and off we travel to Dublin a place I have never been and I am looking forward to the gypsy Irish music I love. We fly out from Prestwick Airport it was only a 25 minute flight. We arrive in Dublin and we are taxied to our hotel it’s the D4 Hotel better known as the old Berkley Court Hotel in Dublin. The Taxi driver hands me a newspaper to see what’s on in Dublin this weekend, and I notice Art Garfunkel’s playing that would be nice to go to “Bridge over troubled Waters”  my dad sang that to me when I was little, my friend does not have the same passion for music as I do, I would rather see something like this than get drunk.

We arrive at our hotel it’s very nice, the taxi driver has told us which direction to head in, on the way to the hotel. We head off into Dublin and we arrive at the Templar Bar my friend has his first pint of Guinness here, I am thinking maybe this Guinness will be okay with him. He starts to get a bit agitated in this pub, so we move to another where there is Irish Music Playing that’s me in my Glory. My friend continues to drink the Guinness and continues and continues, I’m thinking well I’m no going to Art Garfunkel the night. On my return from the toilet I notice 2 whiskies on the bar for him. Oh No here we go.

A few hours later we make our way to a restaurant for something to eat, it is a very high class restaurant candles lite etc, nice music playing, we order our starter and main course and the next thing my friend starts shouting his bigotry, this time it’s changed a bit and his focus is now on the middle east. I’m sat there thinking Oh No, not here in Dublin. I manage to keep him quite but it’s like terrets it just comes out in an abrupt shout and the woman with her back to him when he shouted out of nowhere she nearly choked on her soup, I was mortified, I managed to get him in a taxi straight back to the hotel, where he continued to drink and shout bigotry in the bar.Nightmare.

I found out from a nice man I met at reception, this hotel is where Nelson Mandela stayed when he visited Dublin and Madonna Oh very nice I thought bet they had a better time than I’m having. Here that name Nelson Mandela again it crops up where ever I go.

Next day it was as if nothing had happened my friend was back to his nice loving self. He could not remember a thing, we headed off to catch the open top bus that takes you around the sites of Dublin, I never spoke a word on this bus, I could not after the night I have had. We sat on the top of the bus it was freezing at this time of year, We first passed the Guinness museum and no way was I get off the bus here lol, Then passed the old Jail, and then we passed where Bob Geldoff used to work, we seen all the old historic buildings and we were dropped back in Dublin.

My friend yet again needed a Guinness, me hardly talking to him still, I went along with him and the same thing happened, I had had enough of his drinking and was a bit down when a stranger started to chat to me in an Irish voice he said “hi how you doing are you staying in Bono’s Hotel” I said “no where’s that he said a few doors down I said Really” he said “Yes The Clarence”. Oh The Clarence, good thoughts filled my mind as I thought of the film “Wonderful Life” a friend had given me for helping him and I thought of the angel Clarence in the film. I had photograph of the Scottish Wonder Woman in my bag with me because you never know who I might bump into, so I leave my friend getting drunk again and make my way couple of doors down to the Clarence Hotel there I met a lovely girl on reception, I said “can I leave this photo for Bono and a little about my charity” she says “yes sure but he does not come here very often” I said “its okay if he is meant to get it he will”. I stood a few minutes at the river Liffey at the bridge feeling very sad, thinking, how many kids are suffering in Scotland that come from homes of alcoholic families, drug addiction families, abusive families, families with new step parents that do not get on, How many kids have just to put up with it to keep the peace, how many kids change their life to support the alcoholic and to hide the Secrets that go on behind the doors of their homes. Thousands. How many kids live with abuse thousands? These kids cannot concentrate at school they do not know what’s going to happen when they return home so they worry all day at school, concentrating on the negative, they usually look after the brothers and sisters do the chores they have no time to study and concentrate. Has the world forgotten about these kids, these are the kids who grow up with this negativity in them creating more and more negativity in there life,not everybody some have Music and other things to lift there spirits I learened more in a three minute song than I did at school,  This is not entirely my friends fault for the way he is he seen this in his own childhood it’s normal to him, it’s so sad. There’s no blame for any off it. its the way we are.

I return and take my friend back to the hotel thank god it’s my last night in Dublin, My friend confides in me that these voices he hears when drunk tell him to hit me, and that it’s great that he has refrained from doing this, I’m thinking am I hearing this right, I am not scared as this is the usual drunk crap, It does remind me of the statics of domestic abuse in Scotland that woman have to face every day. And the statics I am learning in college right now about you are more likely to be murdered by someone you know that has been drinking or on drugs 12 hours previouse. Than by someone you do not know. This is Fact in Scotland.

This trip has made me even more determined to carry on with my charity for freedom centres in Scotland for Vulnerable kids who are brought up in terrible environments where they grow up and think this life they have had is the normal and so recreate there own when the grow up in the same way not, all, but many do some are lucky, Woman accepting abusive men as this is what they have seen when growing up and they think this is the normal it’s so sad. So on a positive note I know I have had to see all this through my friend, to give me that determination and passion to carry on with my Charity Wallace Weans and a Charity concert for Scotland kids.Resurrecting my descendant William Wallace without the fighting associated with him and focusing on  his passion and courage to overcome adversity as many kids in Scotland and all over the world have to do everyday changing there negative lives into positive ones.

The taxi Driver then tells us how great Art Garfunkel was at the weekend and did we visit the immigrant ships that are in Dublin, I would have loved to have seen these ships and heard Art Garfuncle, felt like saying no drink came first.I will not be going away with my friend again.

I asked my friend to go that I was in Rhodes with last time to see if he can change and not drink so much, with my father being there he may be different, I have also gave my world to his kids and his mother that I will try find out what makes him like this, surly he will see that when my father drinks  there is no bigotry he shouts, and there is no anger inside him, also my father is great company and an entertainer and he never judges anyone.

My father has always reminded me of Brian Ferry he has always had that look about him in-between Shaken Stevens and Brian Ferry Lol he is also a very funny man he laughs off any adversities that come into his life I can honestly say my father has never in my entire life ever put me down never. Then one thing I remember doing as a child is when he came home from his gigs with his music equipment as a child I used sit in amongst it for hours just sitting there between the speakers, amps and cables that probably why I love going to concerts to be around that music equipment that is home to me.

My father and my son every morning were first up, my dad having to feed the birds and the animals, he has always done this, My Father and Colin have also found a stray pack of dogs on the beach that they feed every morning from food they sneak out from the canteen, 8-9 dogs they have befriended between them they have named them all

I got up one night when I could not sleep because of the aeroplanes, I had booked a hotel bungalow for us right on the landing flight path and I mean the wheels of the plane not far off the roof of the room. I choose here for us for Colin to see the planes that he loves so much, but after two days it got a bit much every night every 20 minutes a plane would arrive from all over the world the noise was horrendous and the room would shake with the vibration reminding me of the earthquake lol. On one night I opened the room door there were 5 dogs laying outside some on the sun loungers some on the towels I had left out lol. It was amazing I reckon they had come to find Colin as he feed them, but he feed them on the beach that was about half a mile from the room and here they had found him. Colin was so thrilled

It’s so lovely and at the same time so sad to watch my friend take Colin out Jetsking and them really enjoying themselves, I watch him do this with his own children a really wonderful fun guy and then a few drinks and bang all that good is all gone.

We hired a jeep and my dad wanted to take us to the cross on the hill in Rhodes monastery Filerimos hill sadly we never went here may be next year.

After a few drinks and then on the whisky my friend starts shouting his bigotry insults like a kind of terrets they are not directed at anyone in particular. Whatever happens to him on alcohol has started. My fathers being my father does not let any of it get to him he just laughs it off as usual. But this goes on most nights of the Holiday, at this point I am now sure this is something my friend is not aware of doing because you just would not do this.

We hire the jeep again and head to Anthony Quinn bay this time to let Colin snorkel there this time it is wonderful my father cannot sit on his arse for two minutes he is away exploring the cliffs and hill of where the film the guns of Navarro was shot, he loves walking. We then take Colin to Lindros one of my favourite places in Rhodes and turned out to be one of Colins, This is where that earthquake comes from just of Lindros in the sea. It was nice to swim around in here with Colin it felt right.

On returning to the hotel we stop in the Old Town for refreshments in the medieval square my dad knows everyone here all the bar owners all the people shouting for business my Father is like a long lost friend lol well he has been coming every year for thirty years. I remember going into a shop as they sat and had a cold beer in the main square in the old town, as I returned there is a crowd of about 50 tourists round my father. I’m thinking whats he doing now as I approach there he is with two of the pigeons from the many that fly around the fountain in the old town on his hand and arm that he has entice up with nuts the crowd stand there some videoing him children just sitting down to watch. I thought I canny take him anywhere he is sat there like Francis of assai lol , what a gift no money in the world could buy that moment that my father could get a crowd around him just by being kind, humble and feeding a couple of birds,I start to laugh as I write this as my father has also reminded me of Franky boy that the chewing the fat team on t.v. take the micky out of  “Wheres the birds”, My father has enjoyed a few birds in his days as a musician and not the featherd variety lol.

I am back here in Scotland feeling sad at this bigotry thing my mate shouts when drunk someone or something has done this to him as a young boy and that his father was the same and probably their father it is so sad to watch this man slowly deteriorate and there is nothing anybody can do to help him. He also thinks he has everything you can imagine we would all want porsche, rangerover, 5 bedroom house, spa, 3 businesses but does he really have everything, I am not sure about that because his mind is tormented day and night with his alcohol addiction. Peace of mind is priceless.

I met Bill here, Bill tells me all about the addictions he has had since being a young boy sniffing glue to moving on to substances till in the end injecting Herion .Bills health has been bad over the years where to the point he has to inject himself twice a day with medicine straight into his pancreas and he says he has a running battle with his negative thoughts that he is now overcoming Bill has beaten all his addictions and coaches others and helps them develop their own self awareness and to make people aware of the patterns we create unconsciously and how we repeat old patterns without knowing it lol, Bill tells me about a book about Living in the “NOW” by Eckhart Toll I have not read the book.  I wish Bill every success on his journey to educate others, I’ve seen me sat thinking and an inspirational text will come to my phone from Bill in exactly the right time I need it wonderful

I love it when I arrive here at Nunraw it’s a huge red brick castle, Hogwarts I have heard Brother Patrick Jokingly call it once to the children that stay lol, We Pull up and go through the front door greeted by a statue of St. Joseph. The stone stairs and archway remind me of a Mexican building and the courtyard reminds me of the album cover from the eagles Hotel California album, we are then greeted by Harry, Harry and his wife help out at Nunraw, he has that usual big hug and smile like you are some long lost relative which may be not far from the truth lol, Then Charles will appear he will take you to your room if you are staying these are all named after the saints the rooms, we are only here for the day we enjoy a cup of tea with them in the dining room. I cant help stare at the beautiful painting of Pontius Pilates wife’s dream which is on the wall in here wow what a painting.

Tommy then heads off to the monastery to do his 12 step programme with one of the monks. I go for a stroll around the beautiful gardens pay a visit to Brother Stephens Grave a monk I used to Love chatting too, then on into the sunken garden where I like to sit and have a quiet moment its usually here I get divine inspiration for the next step for my charity. We always visit the little shop where you will find Brother Philip brother Philip has not a wrinkle on his face and he is in his 70’s that’s what a peaceful stress free monesterian life does for you lol. Tommy and I stay for a spot of lunch and we said our goodbyes, Harry seen me admiring a beautiful rose at the door of the castle he picks it for me he said last rose of the summer here you have it. I take the beautiful rose and Harry hands me a little book called the little flower St. Theresa of the Roses it looks like a very old small booklet and it has come from Harry’s heart I thank Harry driving just down from Nunraw we come to a little place called Garvald, Tommy says look there is David Bellomy. I looked sure enough there is David Bellomy stood at the side of the road we stop I roll down my window I said” Hi David what brings you here” he said “I am visiting my son Rufus”. I know how David loves nature from watching many of his programmes as a young child especially swap shop whither he be in the garden or the jungle lol, I gave him the rose I also told him  about my charity and handed him a picture of the Scottish Wonder Woman, He then tells me how years ago he was in a charity music video with Jesse Rea from Scotland, I never heard of Jesse Rae but Tommy has. I ask him to pass my picture to Jesse on driving home I get curious to who this Jesse Rea is so I look him up on my iphone while Tommy drives home I watch a video of him dressed like a William Wallace standing on top of high raised building in New York ,swinging a sword round his head,well what can a say, he is now an M.P in Berwickshire and he dresses like this in full highland dress with a metal helmet on even as an M.P, I will email him when I get home, what a wonderful coincidence to happen on driving home from Nunraw. It was not till after Tommy and I wondered how we got YouTube to work on my iphone as I was not near an internet must have been tapped into someone else’s lol on the motorway  watch?v=dOad0FU9zF8

I have been going to Retrofest for two years now with my friend Tommy. This Year it’s in Hamilton. I love the history of Hamilton and the Hamilton family my Father took me to the museum in Hamilton to enlighten me about the Covenanters of Douglas That’s where he grow up, He was also at the disbandment of the covenanters on 19 May 1968 in Douglas this was televised in black in white way back then and we watched the short film in the museum about the day of disbandment, my dad in the crowd lol as a young man. I also went on to visit the mausoleum in Hamilton well I just love this place, architect David Hamilton began this tomb and it was finished by David Bryce and Alexander Richie what a knowledge I got visiting here this was El Magnifico’s 10th duke of Hamilton, Alexander who built the tomb for his family, he was laid to rest on top of a block of black marble in an Egyptian sarcophagus. The dome has the largest echo in the world, if you stand in the centre which is called the centre of the Sun, and if you shout the sound reverberates right back at you awesome, a phenomenon dramatically demonstrated to visitors by slamming the entrance doors. Another curiosity of the interior architecture are the “Whispering Wa’s” or walls. Two people can stand at either end of one of the curved interior walls, facing away from each other, into the niche of the wall and hold a whispered conversation. The remarkable acoustics of the walls project the sound eerily to the listener at the other side. I saw whispering walls when I was in a temple in Egypt too, and the mausoleum has the most beautiful doors I have ever seen. Carved from the original “Golden Doors of Florence” scenes from Solomon’s Temple and the walls of Jericho there were many bible scenes, my father was a bible scholar at a young age and had taught me these stories. two huge lions guard this tomb one is asleep the other awake, I can’t help think they are like the sphinx of Egypt.

My Papa  whom was brought up in Douglas he has told me he has met Midge Ure, he had taken my uncle Donald to audition for the band slick many years ago, My papa pulled out his mouth organ and said to Midge if one day you ever need a harmonica player I’m you’re man lol bless him. This is him playing the Scottish music on my site he is 86 and still playing his harmonica William Crawford.

I set off to Retrofest dressed as the Scottish Wonder Woman to raise awareness of my charity .This Year Midge Ure is playing, Paul Young, Bootleg Beatles etc. I know a lot of the people now with stalls from going to most of the events as Scottish wonder woman including the press. I met a friend I met years ago at the Birmingham global gathering where I was a guest of the world’s biggest D.j’s, She is here with a make-up stall and a place to fix your hair, perfect I can nip in there and get freshened up at anytime brilliant,

Tommy and I make our way down to front of the stage, I’m not going to be shouting at Midge Ure this year about helping the Scottish Kids I’m going to be quite lol. I don’t believe it, when I get down the front here is yet again a bloody golden circle reminded me right away of live8 London. I start thinking of all the young people which have not got much money and are here to see their favourite band travelled for miles and here is yet again a golden circle, It was no to bad for me because at least at the barrier I was able to hang my flag over so the bands could see it. Midge Ure could not miss it a Huge soltaire with WALLACES WEANS CHARITY on it .I was lifted up by someone on their shoulders so Midge could see the flag at the song “Hymn” I’m sure he recognised me from Big in Falkirk security were not long in getting me down lol.

The most memorable thing for me was when Paul Young was just about to come on. We met a couple by chance where we were stood, the woman could not wait to see Paul Young I changed places with her so she could see her hero. Her husband was a business man who gave me his card to forward information about my charity to him, Paul Young then comes on the stage and I will never forget when he sang “FOR THE LOVE OF THE COMMON PEOPLE” the whole crowd that was behind me sang at the top of their voices and everyone in the golden circle turned to see this huge crowd at the other side of the fence , it’s a wonder the barrier never fell down flat like them walls of Jerico lol . And over the railing that separated us was the soltaire flag Wallace’s Weans Charity, I will never forget that moment. The woman we had met well no way was this barrier separating her from getting closer to see Paul Young, she jumped over unnoticed and blended in with the crowd in the golden circle. She asked me to join her well I was not looking that inconspicuous dressed as Scottish Wonder woman  lol she did say that she had posh toilets on the other side of the fence, I was happy with where I was.

I managed to catch Ewan from the real radio football phone in whom I know well I said “Ewan what’s with this golden circle I thought I had turned up at a football game with this barrier”, I said “well I’m in here with the common people have you seen how many there is off us lol about 2000 to your 100 lol and I start singing Oh FOR THE LOVE OF THE COMMON PEOPLE, Smiles from the heart of a family man.”

The Boot Leg Beatles where the best band to me and Tommy that day we enjoyed ourselves let’s hope they learned their lesson and there is no golden circle next year and that we all can be equal through music, even if there is I will still choose to be where I was.

Last year Retrofest was in Ayr at Culzean Castle. Tommy and I went along when we arrived I asked who I could speak to get the Scottish Wonder Woman in for free to promote her charity they sent me down to the barriers where they said I would met an official. So I drove down in the Scottish Wonder Woman jeep, I met a guy that had an official looking thing around his neck I said “hi I am looking for the guy who runs the show”, he said “I’m here with the silencers”. I said “Jimmy O’Neil I know him”. Years ago friends of mine Jimmy and Janet Henderson had taken me to see the silencers I had never heard of them but my friends know I love music so much, it was on the Renfrew ferry they took me to twelve years ago, my friend Janet has M.S. and she struggled to get up the ramp of the boat, after the show I was so thrilled these people had taken me to this gig, I went backstage to get Jimmy O’neil to come met Janet and he did she was thrilled.

So the man whom was with the Silencers said “follow me” straight through security, no problem and parked beside the Silencers caravan and into the park where I met some press who know me quite well now, I have been doing this for 5 years now, meeting the public and promoting a concert for the kids of Scotland to Resurrect William Wallace as a charity figure, not focusing on his fighting but more his passion and courage to overcome adversity as many children in Scotland and the rest of the world have to do everyday,a freedom and peace concert on September the 11th (the anniversary of Stirling bridge) which is already booked at a spectacular venue in Scotland for 2011.The monies raised will go to fund Freedom Centers for vulnerable children who come from homes where there parents are alcoholics, where there is drug misuse, depression, abuse etc. These centers will have fully trained councillors and coaches in then to help the children, the children will be taught music, art, sports and alternative therapies including drumming etc bringing out the positive aspects in the child and help then to break the chains of their adversity a lot of children take passion and courage from William Wallace. you can find Andrew Carnegie quotes this in his book.

Tommy introduces me to a member of the band Hipsway I loved them, and off course when the Silencers came on I had to get up on Tommy’s shoulders to fly the flag for Jimmy (Tommy is well over 6ft tall) and a great song “I can feel it”, and “Wild mountain Tyne”. Then on came Fourgood men oh I needed to get up on Tommy’s shoulders for them too lol especially for “Don’t you forget about me” the song a I need for the Scottish kids losing out to a music festival on the 700^th anniversary of Wallace and of course their song “Heart Of Wonder” . Poor Tommy was knackered his shoulders aching lol but all for a good cause. Fourgood men’s photographer I bumped into again I met him at Big in Falkirk where he went to put a picture of the Scottish Wonder Woman in Midge Ure’s dressing room for me lol .

I then went back to the caravan to freshen up where I met the man who had led me into the park his name is Pat he told me Mr T from the A-Team had walked by my jeep and noticed my front wheel was hanging off, I had been to a garage and just had my breaks down earlier in the week, Pat fixed it for me I now call Pat my “Guardian Angel” which is  line in one of  the songs by the Silencers . I then met Pats wife Janice the rest of the crew Jimmy’s Partner Sadie, their children and all their friends it was wonderful, I even got them to phone my friend Janet who took me all those years ago to the silencers concert, Janet was over the moon, they gave me a back stage pass and I became friends later with them all. So there I was back stage telling Nick Hayward about my charity Nick wanted to give me £20 but I could not take it as I did not have my charity number then, but I will go back for it now WATCH OUT Nick I’m coming. I met Derek Forbes who was in Simple Minds many years ago, he said you’re charity is all meant to be that’s why things happen. I would just like to thank whoever was there dressed as Mr T who spotted my wheel hanging off as I Love it when a plan comes together lol . And there was no golden circle at this first Retrofest everyone was equal for a day.

ALL DOORS NOW OPEN FOR HAPPY SURPRISES AND THE DIVINE PLAN OF MY LIFE IS SPEEDED UP UNDER GRACE

And then listen to the s….. he talks all night and his abusive behaviour . A holiday to my friend is drink, drink, drink that’s not my idea of a holiday but we are all different trying not to judge.My dad has a drink but he just has that setamental crying thing that the scots do a wee cry, a wee song and they love the world, this friend is different its hatred that comes out.

He first asks me to go to Maldives which I think this is wonderful, may be he will not drink here and its very romantic, I’m not sure of the 10 hour flight via Dubai I found out it was monsoon time in the Maldives. So he then he chooses Mauritius, I thought Heaven on Earth they call that place sounds great, looked it up and it was not very Warm and has hurricanes there at this time of Year, a long flight again. So I pipes up with what about Rhodes that means I can do my history of the Templar’s of Rhodes and I just love Greek Mythology and my favourite film “Clash of the Titans” and its hot and a short flight Perfect, My Heart was a very sad after he booked this, 2 free tickets appeared from Scotland Unlit for the Nelson Mandela Concert In London and there was nothing I could do now.

Sat at the airport in Edinburgh I felt sad as my father phoned me to see how I was, he loves Rhodes and has been going every year for 30years he especially Loves the old town. I am sat there with tears running down my eyes when I then look at the TV screen in the departure lounge there on the television is Jim Kerr on Gmtv talking about the Mandela concert just as I am about to board the plane, My God just rub my face in it lol. Colin then phones to tell me Jim Kerr’s on Gmtv. Colin is about to leave for France he does this every year with my Mum he has three weeks in France.

I arrive in Rhodes I have been before many years ago and I did not enjoy myself here at 21years old first time round so I am hoping this time is better, we arrive at the Rhodes Palace Hotel beautiful Hotel and we are on the second floor of this huge skyscraper tower hotel the tallest building in Rhodes. I must admit I love the colour of the sea here and how the two seas met at a point in Rhodes the Mediterranean and the Aegean with only a strip of sand separating them.

It takes a little while to get into the pace of this Rhodes Island it is very laid back. I did have a great time and I visited all the sites to see .The first was one of the Greek Gods temples of interest it was so hot this day as we hung on to the tour guide to catch what this place was all about, it was an old ancient site for the Greek Gods, and it had been destroyed by an earthquake, it was at this point my friend turned to me and said do they have earthquakes here, and half listening I said Yes, I never gave it another thought, we visited Turkey, hired a jeep for three days on the days he said he would not drink, we toured the whole island and places of interest my favourite was a little miracle chapel on the highest point in Rhodes and the story goes; a Greek lady could not have children and how she was told if she crawled up this mountain to this little chapel on her hands and knees she would be granted a baby and she did and sure enough she had her baby.

I never crawled up the mountain we drove half way to the car park then I walked up the next half of the mountain. my god what a hike I thought this was never ending I had no water but I was determined I was going to make it up, was not going up here to ask for a baby as I have been blessed with two in my life already and I am very happy with them lol. One son is 22 and a psychologist flown the nest and grown up, the other 14, music daft and into flying, but to me my charity is my baby and if I have to crawl up a mountain on my hands and knees to make it a success I would have, a charity that helps kids that are brought up in homes of alcoholic parents etc, this friend I am with has 3 kids they have asked me what is wrong with their father why can’t wonder woman help him? I am trying to find the answer to that. These kids live in fear when they see their father drink you can feel the energy change. Sober the most loving guy on the planet this is called the Jeckal and Hyde syndrome, I know I would not want my own kids around this man when he drinks. He is usually bad with certain drinks whisky being the worst. The man himself does not know the person he becomes on alcohol it’s like an allergic reaction. And all this bigotry and abusive behaviour starts not all the time but it’s in him inbreed. Certain things trigger it off you can watch it like a pattern he has. His mother has secretly told me that his father was the same, it was like an allergic reaction to alcohol and very abusive with it, so here I see a pattern and this pattern will carry on into his children. Not always so, but most of the time it does.

On arrival at the top of the mountain is the little chapel I walked in gasping for a drink of water not bothered that it’s not bottled before I pass out lol. There on the wall hangs a huge beautiful picture of the Virgin Mary holding a child on her lap (Jesus) slightly different from the virgin Mary pictures we see as it is Greek, I just put my hands on her and felt like crying asking her to please help my friend and his children with this drink problem, and help my charity and to bring me everything I need for its sucess. I did notice that someone had placed a Starfish above her head something I love also at the foot of this picture was candels in the shape of babies with a wick coming out of their heads, woman who cannot conceive come and buy a baby candle and take it home to light, these things are the size of dolls, The view from the mountain was incredible would not like to be up here in an earthquake.

On the way back to the hotel my friend who has not had a drink for two days because we have the jeep, He starts talking to something he shouts while driving “I told you an hour ago to F… Off and he is pointing at something as he says it, I’m thinking there is nothing there ,this I was to find out later was the start of his hallucinations, pink elephants whatever you want to call it Dts, I was not frightened I laughed all the way home I could not help it so did he laugh.

On the beach I met a lovely woman and her partner who owned the canteen where I sunbathed I would be there most days reading my book and on one day she was very sad I asked what was up she said her father in law was in hospital in Athens suffering from heart troubles and she had been crying and had sunglasses on to hide her eyes, I felt very sad, and in the shop I found a picture of the holy lady I seen in the little chapel on the mountain so I took it to her, I never said anything she was so delighted she cried, she prayed to it every day and her father in law is okay now when she focused on the positive and not the negative I also gave her the Braveheart Dance theme tune on c.d to play in her cafe. FREEDOM blaring out the canteen as I read my book lol.

I have done my studying in Rhodes Grand Master Palace and was so impressed by the mosaic Medusa’s head on the floor, this reminds me of my favourite film “Clash of the Titians” I remember watching that on TV and at the end of the film thinking that’s what I want Medusas head, imagine having a man that would go get you that for Love. I started a new Job the following week after watching this film in 2001 in a castle shaped building in Freeport West Lothian the name of the shop was Versace, I remember one day saying to my boss Alexandria look at that lovely sunshine logo she says. Jane that’s not the sunshine that’s Medusas head, no way. Well here it was lol. I got what I had asked for no man had brought it I brought it to myself.lol

I get a lovely text from Joyce my coach back home saying she has just watched the Nelson Mandela concert and had seen a few bands she would never have known had I not mentioned them to her, this made me smile, the book I had bought at the Neal Donald Walsh show which I am reading in Rhodes has Nelson Mandela mentioned in it too,

I had been swimming in a little bay called Anthony Quinn Bay this is where the Guns of Navarro film was shot. It was a beautiful place I had this strange feeling this day not a good energy at all I was not talking to my friend as something had happened on one of his drunk occasions the night before in the Colorado bar and as I’m swimming it was as if I was disturbing the coral and the fish and the animals as if something negative was hanging in the air. We drove back to the hotel I was not feeling very well and we had booked a trip to the Island of Simmy the next day. I was up most of the night feeling very sick at about 6.30 in the morning I heard this sound clunk click clunck click of the chains in the elevator just outside our room and a creaking sound, I heard what I thought a huge wind like a gale force wind the hotel started to sway back and forth as I looked out the patio doors I could see the land rise and fall in a giant wave not a shaking but a wave they whole room was swaying and creaking side to side, I woke my friend up I said you will not believe it we are in an earthquake, I had no fear it was as if well this is it, he saw me going up and down in front of his eyes must have thought he was still pissed this went on for nearly a minute very scary, I jumped up I said I’m getting out of here. are you coming? He said no, I said ok, I jumped up grabbed the first thing I could find a silver bikini over my underwear aye that will do. I was first down to reception stood in the middle of the foyee and the three attendants on the desk were a funny colour the phones going mad they had fear written all over their faces not knowing whether to stay at their post or run. I shouted to them which way do I run out the back or out the front they just said one moment Madame ,I ran out the front of the hotel. I am stood there in this silver bikini looking at the hotel which had a big crack up the front I stood there thinking, I’m going have to go back in there and get him face the fear so I did, everyone was running out I was running in, did not take the lifts no chance. up to what I thought was my room but was not after realising I was on wrong floor I had to run up another, adrenalin had taking over by this time banging on the door I begged him to leave the hotel and that a hotel does not sway like that and have nothing wrong with it, I managed at this point to grab jeans and a t-shirt. I’m stood shouting please come at him he was probably hung over he says I need to find my money and my phone, I’m stood there gobsmacked shouting” who are you going to call when the ground opens up Ghostbusters and who you going to pay to get you out of this one you’re money has no meaning in a time like this”. Me I knew I could go to the beach and I would be okay with the friends I had met at the canteen I did not need to find my money first.

We left the room people were falling down the stairs trying to get out of the hotel some in there underpants, children falling under adults it was a terrible site, panic and fear of people not in control of what Mother Earth had unleashed me included. We made our way outside people were crying. all off Rhodes people were out on the streets. I made my way over to the beach were my Greek friends were with the canteen and they were there, they gave me water and they said we have to wait now to see if there is a tsunami, we just have to watch to see it the tide goes out, I sat there 6.45 in the morning in shock no way was I going on the trip to Simmy, I just wanted off the island and wondering when the aftershocks would come this had been a 6.4 quake. The friends on the beach had said there animal’s dogs and cats were acting strange at about 5.30 before the quake. Animals are very sensitive to things like this

Rhodes Island has been flattened by an earthquake before and rebuilt this time one old church fell and a lady died as she fell down the stairs in a panic to leave her home. Rhodes was very sombre this day including me, we made our way to the old town and the harbour area where the old Colossus of Rhodes stood one of the seven wonders of the ancient world he himself toppled in an earthquake. We sat in the old town everyone was quite, I met a man on the boat that sold shells and starfish he said to me this earthquake was God. We returned to the hotel where I did not want to return to my room, I had became friends with a girl at reception she looked like my cousin Hazel and she was very kind to me, I asked her how much it was for a bungalow villa they had in the grounds of this hotel, I had only one night left in Rhodes she said £500 a night but I give it to you for free, oh thank God, we moved our stuff over to our beautiful bungalow, I know what fear creates and was determined to change this to love we got dressed in our best of clothes and we went for the dearest meal cooked on a silver tray in front of us outside in the moonlight it was a full moon I remember, we had a couple of glasses of champagne we danced and retired for the night. There had been another earthquake 5.3 that night, we never felt a thing slept through the lot brilliant and left for home the next day not before me giving my friend at reception  a gift of a gold necklace with a gold heart because of the kindness she had showed me, we both cried. Love is all you need it’s a shame my friend does not know this .he says the drink the voices the hallucinations make him rich,does he not know it also will kill him, but like Pandora’s box there is hope He has got to reach in and find it.

I was never so glad to see Scotland in my life I had not went to Maldives because of the monsoons nor Mauritius because of the hurricanes, I go to Rhodes and get an earthquake lol. I should have trusted my instincts and went to the Nelson Mandela concert followed my heart and my charity insteed of trying to help fix somebody which nobody can do except that person themselfs not even wonder woman lol , but look at what I learned. Love not fear wins out every time.

Joyce

I have just been to the Neale Donald Walsch Conference in Glasgow, I went because someone gave me his book years ago. I read it but I must admit I do not agree with everything in it, I agree with most things, Well that’s what a good books for isn’t it, to take the parts you need and discard the rest on your journey, I took a friend along although she does not know it but, I call her Coach. Her name is Joyce Bunting. I found out Joyce was not keeping very well and I wanted to cheer her up. She gave me his book Neale Donald Walsch ” Conversations with God” recently for a friend of mine who is an alcoholic sadly he did not read the book and the gesture of kindness from Joyce I wanted to return.

I met Joyce at the University, she was my Teacher on a Coaching course I took, but when I got to the class I realised I had met Joyce before at a spirit aid event in Glasgow, Sam and I had went to see a friend of ours Wananeeche who was speaking at the conference. We were invited to a day in the park with spirit aid, I remember David Hayman being there from Trial and Retribution t.v show, Dr David Hamilton a remarkable man and lots more. I also noticed when reading Dr David Hamilton’s book ” Its the thought that counts” he mentions Joyce and thanks her for her help on his book. I was told Echo and the Bunny Men were going to be playing for spirit aid. I met another remarkable person Brian Boyle, Brian Boyle and I became good friends as the things he told me about myself were remarkable, and last but not least I have to mention my other Friend David, David and I went  to a secret location party and it was magical it was at Bothwell castle there were knights, A castle shaped marquee a stage with huge thrones on it absolutely wonderful and to top it Basement Jacks were playing, I had been on a radio show Beat 106 with Mat Findlay Talking about the magic hats 2002, how I met Matt has got to be one of the most bizzarres coincedences ever, Basement Jacks song was played on the radio that day for us The Hat Girls and everyone was on there way to Hampden, there was a big football game on, ,and this  was basement jacks big hit “WHERES YOURE HAT AT” I would sing instead of the right words lol and here they were in this Secret Castle Location Bothwell. Wow

Joyce we found out in the class had beaten cancer twice, a remarkable feat for anyone, Joyce also runs the course in Miracles Group in Glasgow, This woman’s Teaching are wonderful Magical  and a very honest genuine person who helps people discover the brilliance of who they are. I listened to everything Joyce taught me most of it, I knew but it was nice to have things demonstrated. Joyce offers diploma’s in Coaching through Manhattan coaching company.

I remember saying to Joyce how disappointed I was with the live8 concert in London, and I would like to ask big questions about this concert, like why did those multi-millionaire musicians I love take a pound from me, they have enough to pay for lots of concert for the African kids, Why was there a golden circle at the front of the stage, When people had travelled from all over the world to see their favourite bands, I had used all the money I had to get to London, why did Madonna need the expensive white beautiful outfit she had on, that would have fed an African child for years.when I was at a low point in life and had my radio on and heard a Madonna song that lifted me I did not care what the singer was wearing as you cannot see them. Why don’t they let the music speak? There was lots of thing I witnesses just not quite right to me and why could they not link Scotland with the road to FREEDOM, I came out of that concert very very sad. I think Sir Tom Hunter a remarkable man for paying for this concert and  Bob Geldoff, I could not see how their plans were going to stop terrorism. As we all know it didn’t that year, still a wonderful Cause. I supported and won tickets to both in London and Edinburgh and went dressed as the Scottish Wonder Woman hoping to bump into Sir Tom Hunter to say what about Scotland being the road to” Freedom”. Make poverty History Everywhere.

Joyce taught me to see the magnificence of all these people every day and I did. At The Eagles concert at Hampden Park the same year I was in Joyces class 2006, I was divinely given a ticket by Jay Crawford from Real Radio I was so excited this was the second time I had seen the Eagles at Hampden, I could not contain my joy, I got up to dance just at the back of the stadium where I was seated as I ran up the steps the crowd cheered, I had my cowboy hat and rope of truth. There I was joined by two of the most wonderful children I have ever met one had a brocken ankle and was on crutches, the other his friend, we dance to the Eagles they must have been about ages with my own son, I thought at that moment would it not be wonderful for the Scottish fit kids to dance for the kids of Scotland that are not so fit and  and healthy and raise monies for to help and suppoort them. I was surprised these two wonderful boys knew the Eagles Songs as they were so young. I turned to them at the end of the show I said what do you you think the last song is going to be they said ” HOTEL CALIFORNIA” and so right they were, at the end of the show I said my goodbyes, one of the boys was waiting on his father as I turned, there stood Sir Tom Hunter and his lovely wife Marion, My God, I never asked the questions that were burning inside me, I just introduced myself as the Scottish Wonder Woman and that I felt Scotland has lost out to a music festival for the 700^th anniversary of Wallace. It’s funny how I had been listening to an album before I went to the concert, it was the free album-one song was “The Hunter” and my “Brother Jake” that was one of the boys names Wonderful Eh!!!

Another amazing thing that happened when I was in Joyce’s class, I was out with a friend Andrew, he said to me “Jane, Wonder Woman needs Lexus Car”, I promoted these cars at Edinburgh and Glasgow Airport I met a lot of wonderful people who I gave the Scottish Wonder Woman Picture to here, especially to the drivers who were taxing the famouse to Glen-Eagles for the G8 SUMMIT  lol, Sir Alex Ferguson I met, Sharon Osborn whom I later went on and met again, Rob whom I stayed with at live8 in London he just happened to stay near hyde park, and a group of business men who gave me there number to get in contact with them when I got to London, I asked where I would find them in London they said Buckingham Palace and this was true, I went to met them at Buckingham Palace when in London for live8 they were the security men there unbelievable, and a picture to all the pilots going around the world funny to think they had the scottish wonder woman on the dash of a 747 . I said to Andrew no she needs a Mercedes just jokingly, that night after my course in Joyces class a friend Lorrian phoned me from Glasgow, she managed a bar there, she says Jane come to the pub tonight I want you to met a guy who was in the band “The Alarm”, well okay I said as I grabbed the cowboy hat I loved and off into Glasgow, I sat watched the bands and met a singer that was in the group The Alarm I said you’re song was 69 guns no it was 68 lol. This other guy came over picked up my hat and was fascinated with it and its Logo, he said come out with us later I said I can’t I have not got good breaks on my car which was true, how I got to Glasgow I never know, he said I am a boss with Arnold Clark come to my house. I will take your car to work fix you’re brakes you have my Car Ok, sounds good to me, gets round to his house oh my God there sat in the drive was a Mercedes car black convertible. Mike gave me the keys here you have this for a week. The first place I drove to was straight to my friends, peeped the horn, and he comes out his house and says “I don’t believe it, well I do Wonder Woman”. We laughed and laughed. One of the greatest joy was driving up to Stirling with the roof down, my son in the car with the eagles song blaring “Hotel California” where Colin points out a line in the song “She has got her Mercedes Benz” I listened to that song over a million times in my life and I never ever heard that line in the song lol. The other great thing was taking my nana Jean that I love so much down to Castle Dangerouse in the Grounds of Douglas where she lives, she is 86 and never been in a car like this she sat like the queen which to me she is.

The Neale Donald Walsch conference was great Neale Donald Walsch was not able to come because he was unwell he was suffering from the same ailment as my friend Joyce, and he was being projected on a large screen in the university live from America, I am pleased I have done this kind act for my friend, but was in for a surprise someone I had fallen out with many years ago was at this conference and at the break she came up and spoke to me which was lovely. The whole show was  about why we had fallen out but no directed at us from Neil he was speaking to a woman in the room that had gone through the same thing, the healing that took place was wonderful and I thought I had taken my friend out of love it actually came right back at me that night. Joyce was happy too, she forgave herself for believing in her illness, and forgave her family for believing in her illness and she forgave Neil Donald for believing in his illness, and I would like to add my friend looks wonderful radiant and happy, She surly taught me something again the POWER OF FORGIVENESS. On leaving the show feeling wonderful as I always do round about Joyce I bought Neale Donald Walsch book  “Happier than God” I will Read it when I get to Rhodes my Heart says I should be going to the Nelson Mandela concert in London and two free tickets showed up from Scotland unlt but I already said yes to Rhodes knowing it was wrong, Crossrhodes lol

Margaret and I start talking about Gypsies, I myself am fascinated with the old gypsies and their gypsy caravans. I used to think my dad was an old Irish gypsy in a past life with that black hair, the music and of course a wee bit of magic that he has. I also spent the first years of my life in a caravan not a gypsy one it was in a static caravan circled by two rivers and my father played in a band “The Secrets” in the venue across the road most weekends, my father has a caravan there to this day a sort of sanctuary he escapes to for peace now and again lol, he has it looking amazing bless him. I know there is magic at this caravan park I feel it when I am there lay lines from the two rivers probably this river comes from New Lanark and the Waterfall . I did have vivid dreams as a young child of a gypsy woman who came to me and gave me a rose I can still see her in my mind. Rosslyn chapel before it got famous with the Divinci code had a small museum upstairs in the shop area it was full of Freemasonry Things and lots of history of the gypsies, it had old gypsy relics, pictures of gypsies, jewellery, old bent nails that the gypsies thought lucky and were linked to the crucifixion of Christ I used to be fascinated by all this stuff. It was King Malcome and Queen Margaret of Dunfermline who gave St.Claire Rosslin hill to build Rosslynn chapel after one of the Holy crusdaes King Malcome and Queen Margaret  are buried together in Dunfermline abbey. Queen Margaret became St. Margaret and she has a church at Edinburgh Castle .

Once a year way back when Rosslyn chapel was built they gypsies would gather at Rosslyn to put on a show for the St.Clairs family, The St.Clairs of Rosslyn loved the gypsies not many people would give them land but the St.Clairs did, and I bet they put on some show the gypsies at Rosslyn out of gratitude and Love for the St.Clairs.

The doors of the showroom open and this woman walks in, we are lucky if we get two customers a day as this showroom in the middle of nowhere on the south side of Glasgow, Margaret and I look at each other as if we know what’s coming next and sure enough this woman in an Irish accent says girls let me tell you you’re fortune, let me see you’re hands, she first looks at Margaret and takes out a few charms for us to buy there are 2 Turquoise blue glass shaped hearts. I have not brought any money with me. I go get drink of water and I am thinking well if she is that good and real she will give me the initial of the man I need to met next for my charity, right I have him in my head, I go back through she asks me for £20 to read my wonderful future sadly I did not have this money she then said you will met —— and you will met in Glasgow he is not the normal kid of guy he is different. Well she got the name, Margret bought me the lucky charm the blue heart and the woman left the showroom, Margaret and I just looked at each other. I then looked outside the showroom to see if I could see where she came from, gone, could not see her anywhere, if you have been in this area on the South Side it has one huge long straight road for miles and there was nobody on this road when I looked out. Hope the gypsy was right, I will let you all know loll Margaret and I laughed the whole day.

I have been going too big in Falkirk for the last past four years since my Godson was born, myself my best friend Lisa, her sons Alistair, Ewan and my son Colin. I usually appear as the Scottish Wonder Woman on one of the days. Big In Falkirk is a two day festival, I love meeting the public and asking what their thoughts are on a charity music festival for Scotland’s Vulnerable kids and what they think about resurrecting Wallace in a positive light without the fighting associated with him and more focusing on his passion and courage to overcome adversities as many kids in Scotland have to do everyday can’t say anyone had disagreed with that thought anywhere.

The first year 2005 I went I asked real radio for two hats with their logo on it for the two older boys, Tony Christie was playing that year and the children loved the song Amarillo and they were determined they were going to met Tony Christie. As I sat down to feed the new baby Lisa had just had (Ewan) my Godson the older boys went away to play in the park. A short time later they are running up to me saying that they had been back stage, no way I said. They had walked up to the security gate with their hats on and said they were the real radio kids and security let them in. They had now come to get me back stage , I am laughing at this point as this is not an unusual thing to happen to me, away I went with the boys the first person I met was Jay Crawford imagine the scene, Hi Jay Crawford I am Jane Crawford lol. I got to tell him about myself and what I was doing etc. Jay Crawford works for Real Radio and as you know they helped me a lot after this meeting, on the radio, once in particular I needed a ticket to the Eagles Concert was desperate and my last chance was an email to real radio and Jay Crawford and that ticket appeared I went to that concert and walked straight into Sir Tom Hunter now that’s a Story. The boys along with Jay Crawford secured for the next day a meeting with Tony Christie after he performed, the boys were so excited, and they had made this all this happen, not wonder woman.

Next day I was there in my Scottish Wonder Woman outfit raising awareness of what I wanted to do for Scotland’s kids and of course I was there to take the boys back stage to met Tony Christie, I that day met a man by chance who recognised me from T in the park, where he said I looked like I was on a mission when he saw me, indeed I was that year at T in the park 2004 as I was angry, Robert Bruce from Tennant’s lager would not give me a ticket to T in the park, I had just lost a baby and had not bought a ticket to T in the park as I would have been 8 months pregnant but sadly I lost my baby at 6 months , and needed to get to T in the park to lift myself which music does. I emailed Tennant’s and told them how I had been campaigning for a music festival for Scotland’s kids for the 700^th anniversary of William Wallace and about my own sad story, and Robert Bruce from Tennant’s lager would not give me a ticket, but I got to T in the park by a group of people working for Cadburys chocolate who dropped into my VERSACE shop that I worked in on their way to T in the park, after they arrived there the Barr’s Irn Bru bus promotion people had a spare ticket not only did I have a ticket but a v.i.p pass, they phoned me up I had just watched a film called “A wonderful life” when I got the phone call wonder woman we have you a ticket. and the magic that happened was incredible the organisers of T in the park will never forget me and the power I had that day, I even thanked Robert Bruce for not giving me the ticket personally at the v.i.p arena, I ended up in the news papers on the radio I could not go anywhere without people wanting a picture of wonder woman, I had passion and courage that day and the magic this was my first year dressed as the Wonder Woman and shouting about freedom and a gig for Scotland’s kids not sponsored by alcohol do they know the misery alcohol causes in families.

This stranger I met at Big in Falkirk his name was Ken Miles and we became good friends he was an antique dealer and had a shop in a church in Kinross. He also has a hotel outside the grounds of T in the park and gets free tickets every year

and had invited me up for the following T in the park a dream come true to his house his daughter also worked with Jeff Ellis putting T in the Park together. But Has since went into charity work herself, I owe so much to this man’s teachings he would give me music, he took me to Dunfermline where he grew up and to Andrew Carnegies House and to the Carnegie museum; he took me to the abbey and showed me where Robert the Bruce’s body lies in the abbey. I found William Wallace’s mothers grave in the graveyard under the hawthorn bush this was very moving as I am a Crawford like her. I was shown the great park and all the sites of Dunfermline something that was later to appear in my life all this knowledge I had been given. He sent me books on yoga meditations, Bob Geldoff and Andrew Carnegie, Ken also took me to see Steve Vai in concert, Ken wanted to give something special to Steve Vai something very spiritual and sure enough we ended up back stage with him and ken gave him something very special and Steve Vai gave ken his silver necklace that he wore round his neck, me I ended up back stage talking with the drummer from Santana lol. Ken also looked after the dog that belonged to Stuart Adamson from Big Country sadly Stuart Adamson died of depression a very talented young man and sadly missed.

I also remember ken taking me to Edinburgh Museum and me studying Rasputin from Russia for some strange reason. And my fascination of the Japanese collection I now love antiques.

The following Year at Big in Falkirk 2006 I heard That Midge Ure was playing and I had been sent his song Hymn by Jon Campbell from The Time Frequency (TTF) and the album cover Jons big hit single was” real love “. So here is an opportunity to get my message to Midge Ure how? No Idea , so again I met up with Lisa and the kids and we just enjoy our day I just know when to get changed into Scottish Wonder Woman it’s like divine timing or synchronicity, while I am stood with a huge Eagle Bird on my arm from one of the stalls I here an announcement from the stage that Paul McKenna from real radios outfit is nearly as good as the Scottish wonder woman’s, so that takes us down to the front of the stage were a band is about to come on, it was a band called fourgood men and they said some of the band were in different groups at one time some big country, some simple minds, and some h2o,they were great I enjoyed dancing around to then especially to heart of wonder lol just at that there photographer comes over to take pictures of me, I ask if he can take my picture back stage and put it in Midge Ure’s dressing Room he said no problem, Mission accomplished I later went on to met fourgood men. We had a lovely day and as usual I am up on a huge podium when Midge Ure comes on so he could not miss me the whole park could not miss me lol dancing up there with my soltaire for Scotland’s kids. after the performance by Midge Ure and the park is empty I took the opportunity to shout over the wall “Hey Midge, what are you going to do for the Scottish children, It was the 700^th anniversary of William Wallace and Scotland’s Kids Lost out to the Live8 Concert START WITH YOU’RE OWN KIDS FIRST” the poor man must have been horrified a girl dressed in tartan a shield in her hand and a plastic sword lol But it was something I had to do. I take this opportunity to apologise to Midge Ure, but he will not forget me lol

Big In Falkirk

One of the funniest things we recall from big in Falkirk is on an occasion it had rained so heavy there was mud everywhere I had tied plastic clear bags over my wonder woman boots, I was trying to get through the mud when this girl run up to me and said stop! I cant have wonder woman going through the mud jump on my back. I did so in a fit of laughter and this girl carried me through the muck and said she was dropping me off at the bar with her 6 brothers I still laugh thinking about it.

The Following Years 2007 and 2008

2007 being dominated with Heaven 17 and 2008 with the Stone Roses and 10cc, and by meeting more and more people and networking and marketing this charity and of course getting up on my podium with my Wallace weans flag at the big act of the day, it was very moving when a Muslim man handed me his 2 children up on the podium I gave these kids my soltaire to hold for the picture and I had one of those wonderful moments on seeing how music brings different cultures, religions and people together.

Hopefully this year I will be collecting money for Wallace’s Weans at this Year’s Big in Falkirk.

The New Gold Dream

I was out late one night with a friend for a drive way back in 2003 when I dossed off in the car, when I woke up my friend told me to get out the car and read that plac. When I came to I was sat at the foot of the Wallace monument and in front of this statue, I got out the car and read the plac, I had no idea the first stone laid for the Wallace monument was laid on September 11^th, I also read how this Wallace statue, was brought here and unveiled on 11^th May a date that is special to me. It was very moving reading this plac, and I knew right away I had to meet this man.

This is the second time I have met Tom, on the first occasion I went up to met him we sat and Tom told me his wonderful story, how he was about to have open heart surgery and he was afraid, who wouldn’t be. His wife a wonderful person may I add, took him to see the Braveheart  movie twice. Following his life-threatening open heart surgery, this burly stonemason was both physically and emotionally a reduced man. This movie inspired Tom and gave him courage to face his own adversity. While in the operating theatre Tom dreamt he had to carve this huge statue when he got out of hospital in honour of Wallace for giving him the passion and courage to get through his operation. Shortly after his arrival back at home he sent for two huge stones that were delivered at his house for him to set to work carving this huge statue. Instead of focusing on the negative situation Tom was focusing on the positive and he soon made a full recovery. Tom had a lot of celebrity attention with his statue and he also appeared in “Hello” magazine with it, lol. Tom also has written a Childs book using Tom the chipmunk to tell this amazing story. I am so glad Tom carved this statue.

The Wallace Statue

Work commenced in January 1996.  For one thousand hours Tom chiselled two huge blocks of sandstone each weighing six tons.  By May the impressive figure of Wallace had emerged from the stone echoing Tom’s physical regeneration.

On the 11th May 1996, the first anniversary of the cardiac surgery, the completion of the sculpture and Tom’s return to good health were commemorated at a ceremony at his home town of Brechin,

I remember Tom’s generosity when I first met him he gave me a piece of material from Mel Gibson’s kilt that he wore in the bravheart movie that Mel Gibson had given Tom that’s how kind he is. He showed me the mould for the statue a huge golden mould, and he believed so much what I was trying to do for the Scottish kids. That he has given me the mould of Wallace to make huge collection boxes to take to the big football games and festivals to collect monies for Scotland’s vulnerable kids that are facing adversities in their life. Now that to me is one amazing man. He has a huge picture of a signed shirt of his favourite football team that he shows me in his office that he loves. This man’s kindness will endureth for ever I am sure of that.

This time I am at Tom’s to collect the huge gold mould, I have hired a van and we have to dive all the way to Brechin in Angus where Tom Lives with his lovely wife. The statue is coming back to Lanark, back to Wallace’s home town to Nicolson’s plastic company at Kirkfield bank where I lived as a child. To be made into these huge money collection statues for the kids of Scotland there is something magical in this bringing Wallace back home for the right reasons this time.

Sadly the mould did not fit in the van to my great disappointment and to all the money I had wasted going up to get it lol. I said to Tom, I am away home to think again, dissapionted, I went home and met my friend Derek, he said, “Jane look in my yard what do you see “, I said, “a huge truck that you take your racing cars in to go racing” .  Derek replied, “Will Wallace fit in that?”. “Yes!” I said. “I will take you free of charge”, says Derek. Thank you, thank you, thank you, I said, sometimes the things we need are right under our nose and we can’t see them. Free

The Alvo have a huge data base about funding and give help with finding funders, filling in the application forms etc, once this letters done the community foundation give you a phone call, for you to talk about you’re charity and the difference it will make, down a phone line before giving you funding. This makes me laugh because I hope they have plenty time, 8 years worth of hard work I have to talk about it down a phone and the endless possibilities for children in Scotland this Wallace’s Weans charity will achieve that will be some phone bill for them. I will have no voice left lol

I love going to the Alvo as I already knew the people that worked there one is Ed Archer, and he just happened to be my history teacher at school and I never took any notice of history at school had no interest what so ever.  Ed is also the Lanark Historian and I have worked with him on a project at St.Kentigern’s church in Lanark. This was the church Wallace was reported to have been married in. I love churches, chapels, cathedrals and monasteries, I love the arcutecture and the masonry.

send me into the library next door to get books like Blind Harry and make me read them. Ed’s knowledge of the world is amazing and this man also is a humanitarian in all aspects and also very kind, you can just see that in the voluntary sector he works in. I remember him taking me up to Stirling to met people that had mental health issues and he was doing a craft workshop taking them out photographing expeditions etc and putting their work into written projects etc, taking the focus away again from there adversities focusing on the positive rather than the negative. It can totaly  Change life’s. These people had suffered and were coming together sharing and helping one another instead of sitting in their houses with nobody to talk too becoming victims of adversity.

Another guy that works in here I love talking to as he often talks about Rosslyn Chapel A place I love and I often visit the knowledge and wisdom in this place is incredible, not to mention the secret music that is carved into the stone’s. I remember playing crocket one day with these men and the Cartland bridge hotel and this guy in particular saying to me have you seen the fallen angel in Rosslyn indeed I had not. I can remember wanting to know a lot more about this lol. Fascinated by the secrets probably because this was the name of my Fathers first band when I was little “The Secrets” before that “The Saints” and before that “The Phantoms” lol

Colin At 1,700ft Above The Forth Rail Bridge

When I have been away, Colin has taken it upon himself to email a show he loves Joe and Lynn on Real Radio all about himself and has asked if they can give him any advice about the radio industry, so they have invited him onto their show tonight, well what can I say I am speechless and proud, so as usual mad rush to get ready and a drive to Easterhouse in Glasgow I have still got Night of the Proms in my mind.

We arrive at Real Radio and we are taken through to the studios, I am thinking Ewan and Ruffy are live on air at the minute on the football phone in, I already know then from the music festivals as Scottish Wonder Woman and when they have phoned me from their show to take the mikey out of me live on air. I wanted to ask Ruffy how I can get this huge collection box of Wallace to all the big football games etc, and the big Scotland Games this year, and Colin has given me the opportunity to do so. It Was so nice to surprise Ruffy and Ewan arriving at the studio with my son, I think they are so funny.

Colin and I are taken into Joe and Lynn’s studio and they start their show, Colin seems to know what everything for and all the jargon they use in Radio, I was astounded he knew so much at such a young age, so I sat there just listening I look to my left and there is a glass screen with a guy from smooth radio ,next I hear a lot of banging from the next room that’s the rock station, I start thinking of my friend in California who works on pacific radio Mikenac mikestark.net he works on the rock50 show with Bill Ward drummer from Black Sabbath who did a lovely song called “straws” about peace, they has been wanting me to go out to California for 8 years now and I have never been and I know its somewhere I need to go, it’s in my heart, they are all waiting on us and he has been my mentor in my charity telling me to believe and sending me the appropriate song that I needed at every obstacles I had to overcome. I remember walking along Hyde Park in London dressed as the Scottish Wonder Woman on my way to the live8 concert and Mike from pacific radio in California is phoning me live on the show over there in California to report on Live 8 nuts eh. live8 ? that’s another story but you can hear interviews with Mike and Bruce springsteen etc on the link.

The first request comes into the radio show and its for John Miles “Music” I am sat there thinking I have just been to see him, the next request comes in o.m.d. I am thinking how strange then the next request simple minds, I am thinking this is bizarre what a coincidence. Then a caller phones up for another song and Joe starts having a Conversation about a festival up at Stirling at the castle where him and the caller met and about Wallace. I’m sat thinking will I say something ,no its Colin’s night.

Joe then gets a request from a caller who is upset and wants Joe to play a song for someone who is a bit down, its a sad song and straight after it was finished Joe played an upbeat song, I was able to point out to Colin that Joe deliberately took us from that sad song to a happy song for a reason, to lift that last caller back up, and that’s the power of music it heals us, you can create moods with it joy with it sadness with it, and that you can reach people through music.Have you ever noticed there is a song for everything, you are feeling crap about a situation in life and low and behold there is a song that fits where you are at and there is the answere.for those who have the ears to listen.

I ask Joe why they have invited Colin Into the studio, he said he saw something in Colin that was in him when he was young, when he himself was a young boy, he emailed Radio Clyde about himself and they sent a taxi round to his house to get him and bring him to the Radio Clyde studio’s and here he was doing the same for Colin, is that not just wonderful, that somebody can be that kind not just that but give a young boy hope that one day he can be like Joe. These are people we never forget the Joe’s of the world.

Colin has just used skype to call me to come on his own Radio show as I write this, does anybody know what that’s like for a mother to be invited on there sons show lol first song that came into my head was the shape shifters, I am sat here so proud that Colin had inherited this musical gift as it will never let him down.

Apart from learning to fly and his radio he also loves Jack and Victor, Catherine Tait, Rab C Nisbett, he loves comedy which is something else that lifts us laughter to laugh is to be with the Gods they say I would have to agree with that.

O.M.D. Fans

I flew out to Charlorie Belgium form Prestwick airport. I love airports as they remind me of Colin and his love of aeroplanes. I took lots of picture of the airport to take back home to show him, he has been learning to fly and has enrolled in the flying school, never saw Wonder Woman’s invisible plane she is said to have lol, Its maybe on its way.

I am stood in the airport when I get this urge to buy a soltire flag ,as these tickets for the proms I have came to me divinely from the net. I have no idea where I am sat and if I am sat in the balcony I need a soltire and it’s the Scottish Wonder Woman’s trade mark .I managed to buy a soltire flag in the shop at the airport.

We arrived in Charlorie Belgium and we were taxied to our hotel the Leonardo da Vinci, We dump our cases and go for an explore round the town, we notice there is an Irish pub a few doors down from the hotel, I’m not a drinker but my friend I am with likes a drink so in we go, we met two lovely lad’s from Glasgow they are there to see O.M.D. and one has an O.M.D. T-shirt on, I tell him that I have read that O.M.D. are not playing at the proms this weekend and this is the standing joke, that he is going to the concert in his t-shirt and they are not playing. I am sure I have read this on the net that they were only playing the Friday night. It’s time to go get ready for the concert, mad rush as usual kilt out Wallace’s weans t-shirt and of course the soltire.

I am taking this opportunity to get my charity stuff to Jim Kerr who is playing at this concert, if anyone understands the collective consciousness its got to be Jim, you just have to look at Mandela day to see that .I have no idea how I am going to get this charity stuff to Jim, I just have to have Faith that I will, hope looks forward, Faith already knows it has succeeded, I have a newspaper clipping about the charity, starting with you’re own kids first and how charity begins at home, and how I feel Scotland lost out on a music festival on the 700 th anniversary of William Wallace as everyone was focused on the live8 concert and the G8 Summit, my charity is about resurrecting William Wallace as a charity figure, without the fighting associated with him but more focusing on his passion and courage to overcome adversity as many children have to do in Scotland everyday and all over the world for that matter.Its about honoring each others differences, not only that it’s a shame Mr Hunter did no see the potential in linking this live8 concert with the road to Freedom. I am indeed sat up in the Balcony, The show begins I am still sat wondering how I am going to get my stuff to Jim or Charlie there is hundreds of people here .I start to think of my Nana Jean and how I was at her Diamond Wedding at New Lanark a year ago to the day I am sat in the concert hall and just at that the orchestra struck up with song from that night their song “The Anniversary song” I am goose bumps from head to toe as I watch the audience waltz round the room, its not a song I had heard of before except because I recorded it for them for there anniversary and wrote the words out for my dad to sing .A job I have done most of my life for him writing out his music for pocket money not much may I add.

John Miles starts his set another song I radiate with, John Miles “Music” watch?v=AuZhBzaUpd0 and this song best describes me, it is wonderful, all the instruments and the lights all the different sounds awesome, then comes on O.M.D I am sat wishing I was with the two O.M.D. friends I met earlier, they are down the front of the stage and they must be so excited now O.M.D. have appeared on the stage I would love to have been with them but I cant leave the person I have brought with me, it did not feel right. So here I am sat in anticipation waiting on Simple Minds, I have never been In the presence of this band before and everybody I know has consciously or unconsciously lead me to here, has simple minds music been in my life, I would say yes but it has been other people that have brought it to me boyfriend’s, friends I would say, I remember watching Don’t You Forget About Me on bandaid many years ago and this was a song I loved and this is a song I want for a charity concert for the Scottish kid’s hence why I am here. I can honestly say Simple Minds songs have lifted me at some sad times in my life, there is a lot of positive affirmations in their songs if you listen, and thanks to my good mate Brendan who is a huge minds fan, he has sent me all there c.ds and I would say I know there songs pretty well now especially “Jungleland” as this is my nickname JungleJane, my favourite “Let there be love” I heard many years ago.

The blue lights shown and all I heard was the voice of Jim Kerr to sanctify yourself watch?v=fNkBuQK6VOw, I felt the energy come from head to my toes and I had to stand up flying that saltaire for my charity and for the kid’s of Scotland I felt an overwhelming truth in me. I watch the rest of the show it was fantastic, when I heard the orchestra play Land of Hope and Glory, I said to my friend that now the concert has finished I think I can see Charlie Burchell at the corner of the stage, I will go down and get my charity stuff to him.

It seems a long way down all the stairs round the back of  the arena and down the front to the stage hoping someone speaks English. I met an official looking man at the corner of the stage I asked him if he could pass my stuff to a guy I thought was Charlie Burchell mission accomplished, just at that Jim Kerr and charlie Burchell are announced back on stage and I hear the intro to Dont You Forget About Me, my song the song for the Scottish kid’s. I asked the official could you please get my stuff back I have given it to the wrong person he laughs and says why not give it to the guy next to me that’s Jim’s minder I thought brilliant, and that’s what I did, just at that Jim Kerr’s walking toward’s me singing Don’t You Forget About Me, I am stood next to a guy in a Celtic top coincidentally, as he approaches I hand Jim the soltire flag which he takes on stage with him. I look at the minder and the minder looks at me I am thinking right place at the right time it was wonderful, god knows what my mate is thinking up on the balcony mission accomplished watch?v=ofI2-qMJDsE

We finish off the night back in the Irish pub with the two O.M.D. fans who are indeed as high as kites, along with myself, there is a band playing and they are playing the proclaimer’s songs a band I have also met and this was a lovely finish to the night.

I have been asked by my best friends husband if I will look after a showroom in Glasgow for a company where he works as they are short staffed, he said it is  pretty quite and I could re-search my charity while I am there, I thought okay must be something here that will link up.

So here I am driving to the south side of Glasgow a place I have never been before and quite a drive from Lanark actually, but I have got the music on in the jeep so that passes the time, if I have music on I can go anywhere lol.

The place I am going to and the showroom is right across from forest furnishings on the south side of Glasgow. I’m starting to wonder what it is that I’m here for. What a beautiful showroom it is, beautiful bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms its great walking around imagining they are all  mine ,feeling their vibration.

So things start to unfold, one of the bosses is in the “Sons of Wallace society” and he is coming to visit the showroom, I took this opportunity to introduce myself to him and my charity, I have given a lot of paper work away with him about Wallace’s Weans charity for the “sons of Wallace society”. I was then told that one of the boss’s relations owns the garage in Glasgow, Donnie McLeod I thought aw that must be Runrig I am looking for him. It was not him lol.

The Garage in Glasgow sets my mind straight back to the Primal Screams gig, The Home coming gig Years ago, 2003. I had seen them at T in the park and for some strange reason as they were filming at the front of the stage at T in the park the camera always captured me in my cowboy hat and it would flash on the big screens at the side of the stage, so the whole camp site started calling me the PRIMAL SCREAM GIRL which I was flattered at because I had no done anything to have this name except be in the right place at the right time. I heard on the radio that Primal Scream were playing at the garage in Glasgow a home coming gig , and there was a competition to see them, I thought right I’ve won I’m going to this concert as I need to  I Feel it. I won all the tickets to T In the park, music gigs on the radio when I started this project it was like magic because I had no money. So I phoned the radio when I heard the competition announced and I was third in the que, they took three callers, I was last funny thing was I did not even know the answer to the question, and because I was last the other two got it wrong and there was only one answer left .Well of course I won the tickets knew I was going lol, another reason I had to go to this concert was because I had a friend who suffered from manic depression, she died shortly after we had been at t in the park and she had given me a feather from her eagleowl she once kept, I was determined to give it to her fav band Primal scream I am sure she would have wanted this.

The Iraq and Afghanistan war was in full swing then children getting killed everywhere which really saddened me, I had also learned about the power of thought so I would go to this concert and all the energy I got from it I would send good thoughts to these children that were being hurt. Any good things you send out return to you 10 fold. So I needed two soldiers’ berries to wear to this gig. I am out with friends this night before the gig, and I am asked to a party by a friend called Aldo he is Italian he has me watching films about the Italian mafia that he is right into. without a word of a lie he shows me his hat collection, oh my God there are two soldiers berries paratroopers one red one black as he had been in the Italian paratroopers or army never asked, one for me and Sam whom I am taking to gig. Could not believe it. I thanked him very very much.

Our tickets arrived and we had one of those special guest passes that go around you’re neck making you feel very important, I’m so excited and its Easter my favourite time and a special but sad time for Sam, so we start on what I always call the magic journey when music’s involved, and when Sam and I are together lol, so we gets to Glasgow into the gig, Sam loves music but does not have the same passion in the soul as me and she never heard of Primal Scream. I leaves her at the bar as it’s a free bar and I get into the hall where they are about to play we both have our Soldiers hats on. So little do I know but the show is being filmed for their documentary, so here I am dancing to primal scream. When the best songs come on I’m up on these strangers shoulders, cowboy hat in hand this time, why? no idea just had to take it, the lucky hat, So after concert I’m soaking with sweat from all the dancing I did, I comes out like a drowned rat and there is Sam perfect no a hair moved beautiful as ever. I said brilliant what you been up too? She says she was stood at the bar when this guy approached her and said how he liked her soldier’s hat; he was the Father of Primal Screams lead singer. Ive been dancing like an idiot and here is she with there father lol. We get to talk to him about about holding Freedom and peace gig here in Scotland one day that was in 2003, and of course I gave him my friends feather.

The Primal Scream Documentary was shown on TV, as I watch it I could not believe that it’s me they have filmed all the way through the documentary lol, you got to get a hold of this if you can, right place right time. Primal Scream will not forget me, that’s for sure or Sam I don’t think they are ment to.

I am at the Scottish Golf Show this weekend helping a mate promote his new golf club, called the BumpJump a unique golf club that you can not shank  if you tried lol. My Mate’s name is Tommy McTear and I met him by chance when I was doing a promotion for the national lottery, he introduced me to Nunraw and to Brother Steven.

By helping him, he has in return gave me tickets to “Night of  The Proms” in Belgium, that appeared on the net from a Pamela Pike in Tipperary and flights to Charlorie with Ryanair for £15. I’m very excited about it, I  hope some Divine intervention helps me get my charity to Jim Kerr of  Simple Minds who is taking part in this show. Everybody has been telling me to contact him I mean nearly everybody I come in contact with, I have already met Fourgoodmen on several occasion’s and have spoken with Derek Forbes backstage at retrofest07, who said you’re charity is all ment to be that’s why everything happen’s to you.

I have a good vibe about going to this gig, and booked into the  hotel Leonardo da Vinci in Charlorie ,also they talk Wallonian in Belgium and that’s close enough to Wallace for me. LOL

Scottish Golf Show was great, I met a lot of people and really enjoyed the experience. I met a guy doing the trick shot show and he asked me to join him as the Scottish Wonder Woman on the Sunday, and that he would also introduce me and my charity to the public, I was driven to the arena in a golf cart by a guy called Paul who used to be Ant and Decks minder,no wonder my nickname’s JUNGLEJANE lol, that was hilarious to take part in the show, I had to lay down with a golf ball  on a t sticking out  my mouth for him to wack the ball, still got my teeth thank god.

Anyway the strange thing about all this is, I found out that Donald Trump had bought the statue that sit’s at the foot of the Wallace monument for his new golf club in Aberdeen, that’s the one I have the mould for to make my huge wallace collection boxes that I was so kindly donated by Tom Church the sculptor. So the Scottish Wonder Woman and Donald Trump have same statue, no wonder I’m at the SCOTTISH GOLF SHOW coincidence?

What a wonderful building I arrived at today. The Trade halls in Glasgow. I was there for a conference with First port and Scotland unltd for a conference on funding for charities and for social entrepreneur’s. I was stunned by the beauty of the building just off Ingram Street in Glasgow. We were there also to be presented with certificates of the awards we had won “Wallace’s weans” Charity had indeed won an award and I was there to collect it.

I met some very interesting award winner’s one of which was the Bullwood Project and they told me all about Tartan day in New-York, something I would love to take the Scottish Wonder Woman to, as it was that fateful day in New -york on September 11th 2001 ,that motivated me to start my own charity about peace, freedom and honouring each others differences. As for the Scottish Wonder Woman well that came about because I wondered how I was going to do it, but everything I needed just seemed to appear so now, “I just look with Wonder at that which is before me”,and everything seems to happen

The Bullwood Project is a woodturning and woodworking charity open to all people and with two main aims:

1. to provide relief to those, who by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage find themselves isolated and working alone.
2. to provide for the advancement of environmental protection by seeking to process trees that are destined for landfill and recycle the timber back into the community.

The Project provides a meeting place and the freedom to be able to exchange and develop ideas and skills.

Part of the recycling plan is to develop a woodworking machine shop to utilise the timber for a range of Bullwood branded goods.

The charity itself is not allowed to trade. It does, however, own a trading company, Bullwood Limited which donates all surplus funds to the charity.

I was also introduced to the community foundation who give out grants to charities, so I will be writing to them in the future to see if we can get help with Wallace’s Weans and hopefully be put in touch with other funders here in Scotland. So it’s head down again, and a lot of letter’s to be written,the right people to find and websites to finish just need to keep saying my positive affirmation. “The Things I am now seeking are now seeking me”.Its all sometimes quite draining but very worthwhile, suppose everything has its good and bad points and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to be doing this.

Mount Teide

I was asked by a friend to join them in Tenerife for a 5 day break. I jumped at the chance. I have just returned home and had a wonderful time, the biggest highlight for me was going up  Mount Teide. I Love volcano’s and have had a passion for them ever since being told about 3 super volcano’s by a native America Indian friend of mine Wananeeche in 2001. I also this time last year, took my son Colin to Lanzarote to see the Timanfaya volcano (Fire Mountain)  we could not help thinking how the national park looked like somewhere in space,  it was beautiful, now I have my son hooked on volcanoes to, there is also an amazing story about the volcano in Lanzarote.

The first one dates back to 1780 when a procession carrying the image of Our Lady of Dolores managed to stop the lava flow which was threatening to reach the village of Tinajo. Since that miraculous event, the image of this Virgin has been the islands’ patron saint and part of the folk lore. Legend also has it that Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, also known as Virgin of the Volcanoes, was also responsible for the salvation of the village of Mancha Blanca. In 1824, the Tinguatón volcano erupted and, as the lava flows were threatening to destroy the village, local inhabitants prayed to the Virgin for protection and – like a miracle – the lava stopped nearby the church where a cross on a small lava block still marks this spot.

I think for me it is a energy thing , all that energy under the ground excites me, also to see how beautiful mother earth is and also how destructive she can be, a bit like our conditioned self’s, some more than others. I wake up every morning to the view of an extinct volcano where I live and it’s a lovely site in the winter when its covered in snow it’s called Tinto. I also flew over Mount Etna twice last year once on the way to Egypt in July, The captain announced that we were flying over Mount Etna, Like a flash I was out my seat, I nearly sat on top of a woman so I could see Etna out the tiny plane window ,wishing I was going there with Colin instead of a history trip to Egypt. Again this happened Nov07 on  my way to study the history of the Knights Templar’s in Malta. There I was nose pressed firmly on the glass of the window of the plane fascinated and sad, wishing I was going to  mount Etna with Colin. I had the chance to go to see Etna from Malta, but it did not feel right without Colin. One day we will go and to Pompeii.

I have a friend I met at a conference in the Millennium Hotel in Glasgow his name is Johnathan Clark, he was doing a talk on the power of the mind which I am also fascinated by. He sad he had been initiated in his science at the top of a volcano in Hawaii. Wonder if that was an energy thing? you never know clever guy though that’s for sure.

Well here I am back in Bonnie Scotland back to the cold weather but thing’s Will hot up as we approach Easter one of my favourite times of year

Well I decided to start to the gym, I have been fit from dancing and was a fitness instructor for curves the Ladies gym few years ago, but noticed the pounds creeping on, to much good food, and I am starting to lose hope of squeezing into my Scottish Wonder Woman outfit for this year, so felt I had to do something about it. I joined a brand new gym at New-Lanark just built with a £2000000 pound swimming pool that is powered by the river, and is part of the New-Lanark Mill Hotel, not just that, it’s my favourite place in the world. My ancestors lived and worked in New-Lanark cotton mill. My lovely Nana Jean Lindsay lived there; she lost her mum at an early age and looked after my great granddad Daniel Lindsay and her brothers. My nans parents and grandparents lived there also Helen McLennaghan and Samuel Mctear after coming here for work from Bridgton and Toll Cross in Glasgow. My nan married the coal man William Crawford from Douglas. The Crawford’s and Lindsay’s amalgamated many years ago in Wallace’s day and here it was happening again, they also have the same tartan these two surnames.This is also a very musical family and music was LOVE.

New Lanark is also linked with  William Wallace and it is the place (Danduff waterfall) he was to met Marion

after his fight in Lanark with the sheriff Hazelrigg. Marion was not there when he arrived; they say Hazelrigg soldiers drowned her in the Clyde. There is a cave up the waterfall that Wallace was said to have hidden in from the English Soldiers. My dad used to take me up the falls to see the cave as a child, when I say up the waterfall, I literally mean he knew how to walk up the rocks and he still does. It was not until I was half way through setting up this charity that I found out William Wallace’s mother was a Crawford from Lanarkshire same as me wowee , There are three waterfalls at New Lanark, the top one is called Bonnington Linn, the next my favourite is Coralin (where I got Colin’s name)  and the last one the small one Danduff, what an energy this river has at this point and I very often visit here to feel the energy of the river and to see the peregrine falcons that live here, I spent the first few years of my childhood at the next stop along the river Kirkfield bank  where two rivers join, called the Mouse and the Clyde rivers,

The history of New-Lanark is amazing,  an immigrant ship was intercepted by Mr Dale at Greenock as it docked because of bad weather, he wanted workers for the mill . This ship was “The Fortune” which was one of the Irish immigrant ships. I will write about New Lanark in the history pages soon, as well as the history on Douglas where my Grandparents now live after moving from New-Lanark after they were married and that was over 60years ago and there are still fit and healthy at 86 years old, that will be there music that keeps them fit, Douglas, is where the tomb of Sir James Douglas lays in St.Brides church, Sir James Douglas was a knights Templar who was entrusted with Robert The Bruce’s Heart on the crusade to the Holy Land along with another two knights ,Symon Lockheart and St.Claire of Rosslyn chapel, I played here in Sir James Tomb as a child had no idea then who he was. Sorry Sir James and had no idea my life’s journey would include these three Templar’s  Histories. I remember joking with Rab Douglas the celtic player one Lanimer day about how I used to jump on top of his ancestor’s tomb, he just laughed and revealed his family coat of arms tattooed on his Shoulder lol.

Anyway back to the gym, I told my mate Derek that I was going to join, he said he would like to also to get his blood pressure down for his racing car licence, he did not want to use tablets to do this,so we joined. Next thing we are told we have won a prize for being the 600th member to join and that we had been invited to the grand opening of the new complex with MSP’s from parliament, the national trust, and a few councillors, I just looked at Derek and said what’s the chances here’s another opportunity to get my charity into parliament and to the national trust, and that’s what happened met Linda Fabian and a few other MSP’s, . I met a lovely man in a wheel chair who worked for New-Lanark trust and whom had known my family, this man in particular I gave a photo of the Scottish wonder woman to, this man told me that he had actually met Linda Carter in America what a coincidence. Great day and great networking had by all. Gyms no bad too. As my Native American Indian friend would say.” To all my relations”

The good news today, I was phoned by my lawyer to say I had received my charity and charity number from Oscar the charity regulator. I had waited 5 years on this and it came on the day a good friend had passed on.The lawyers said that I would receive the paper work tomorrow, which will  be the 14th February, what a day eh! the day of love and the one thing that I know makes all things possible. The strange thing about this lawyer’s is I never picked them, I was sent to them by Scotland Unlt who funded my legal fees for this charity which was given to them by Camelot(national Lottery) it was not till I seen my charities address I went wooweee Wallace’s Weans charity,24 Great King Street ,Edinburgh well there’s an address if ever I seen one DIVINE EH!!!!  it could have been Queen street lol
